Draft pick / Choix au repêchage

Draft pick / Choix au repêchage (1/6)

  1. Johnson has to sign with the Canadiens before August 15th 2011 or we will lose his rights. I haven't heard much about him, so I don't know if he is worth signing or not.
  2. I never said he was pegged as having first or second line offensive potential in the NHL... I said he was deemed as someone with great offensive potential, nothing more... Please re-read my post next time before you decide to bash me. Thanks!
  3. "Talent Analysis Russell, much like his brother in Medicine Hat, provides an excellent offensive game on the ice. With strong vision and passing, Russell is also an excellent skater and isn’t afraid to shoot the puck, which he does with great accuracy. Russell’s only knock, though, is also one he shares with his brother. Being undersized at 5’9, 165lbs, Ryan is by no means considered a sure offensive threat, even at the next level of play, where physical play intensifies even more than that at the Western League level." I see nothing here about him being a defensive player whatsoever. http://www.hockeysfuture.com/prospects/ryan_russell
  4. He's a restricted free agent this off season. I know PG might send him an offer sheet, but is it really worth it? This guy was supposed to be a player with great offensive potential, he's done nothing but disappoint thus far...
  5. Habs have signed free agent swiss forward forward Alain Berger to a three year entry level contract. http://www.habseyesontheprize.com/2011/4/8/2099472/habs-sign-fa-alain-berger I didn't see a thread about him anywhere in the "in the system" section so I assumed there was not one. Mods, please delete this.
  6. Name: Branden Age: 18 Hometown: Sudbury, Ontario. It's great to be a part of this forum. Living here in Sudbury, In my 18 years, I've seen the likes of Benoit Pouliot, Nick Foligno and Marc Staal spend their junior careers here. Pouliot was quite the player. Hitting, Fighting, Goal scoring, a complete player. we had a respectable team back when Pouliot, Staal and Foligno were playing together now, we have a terrible team! haha. I can tell you all one thing: Jared Staal, the youngest of the Staal Brothers, will NOT make it into the NHL.
