Fischer and McDonagh did attend the development camp because it is within the rules of the NCAA regarding becoming a pro player. Any NCAA player must not get any payment or benefits, including travel, hotels etc, from any pro clubs or they can no longer play college hockey. They attended development camp using money from their own pockets but were not allowed to go to training camp. Concerning Trunev, his passport has expired which is why he is not here for the development camp. He is expected to report to Portland but it is his choice whether he leaves Russia or stays.
