  1. The topic filter settings you submitted are not valid. Please go back and reset your topic filter settings. How do I do this and why is this popping up? Help!

  2. -Chateau de Chamboard, Loire Valley, France (16th Century) -Haleakala Volcano, Maui, Hawaii And closer to home... -Lost River Gorge, New Hampshire.- Pretty cool spot. Kejimkujik National Park, Nova Scotia Petroglyphs carved into stone by the Mi'kmaq people in the 17th century.
  3. "Ya got plently of time to sleep when you're dead" Wade Garrett (Sam Elliott) in 'Roadhouse'
  4. "Hard work beats talent when talent doesn't work hard" Case in point: Boston wins Cup over Vancouver. Vancouver had much more talent (on paper) but didn't show up to play in the finals.
  5. A friend of mine used to have a Chevy Truck with the plates LKARCK. It took me a while to figure that out...DUH! Like A Rock! Didn't I feel dumb!
  6. Awesome room HF! So many items! Many items I have never seen anywhere else. Love the shadow box with the mask etc. in it! If you have more stuff you need room for, you can always send them down to me...I can find room for them! HRF, the beer and rum have been re-stocked! Door's always open for Habs Fans!
  7. Come on! Everone knows who HRF is! He's the hockey Guru!!! Who doesn't know him????
  8. So... I see you are also buds with The Captain! He and I have been friends since university. However, I went to Jamaica in 1997 and discovered Appleton Estates. At that time it was not available in Canada. But we're getting into a whole other topic here! It's under the bar in the cabinet on the right side, glasses in the cabinet behind you, ice maker and mix in the fridge! Enjoy!
  9. Glad you liked the wall! Thanks! I can tell you this: Useing the frames as I did (with 6 pics 5x7)was much easier than useing individual frames. The hard part was figuring out which pics to put up. Tried to get similar numbers of pics up of both kids. We ended up going with championship teams and special teams (Allstar, etc.) As well as individuals from each season of their respective sport,(or dance session in my daughter's case.) Would love to see pics when you get it done.
  10. No worries! I can get more rum faster than you can say "The Leafs win the Cup", without bursting in laughter after saying it. Appleton or Morgan? Sorry, I can't stand Baccardi.
  11. But did you have to drink all my Rum too??? Oh...wait...that was me!Sorry! I have a Habs necktie you can borrow!
  12. Thought I'd add a couple of pictures of my newly completed hallway wall. This one is the family sport/activity wall. There are pictures of my daughter's softball years and dance as well as my son's years in hockey and soccer, (only 2 years of soccer, then we discovered summer hockey).
  13. Back home from Cape Breton this afternoon. Now I gotta go to a Scout meeting then take my son to his girlfriend's ringette game. I'll leave the basement door open yor ya! Just save at least one cold one for me...please!
  14. Morgan Dr. Lawrencetown N.S. Cold ones are chillin' in the electric beer box! I'll post a couple of pics when I get back in town. (Working in Cape Breton this week)
  15. I'm still waiting for you guys to drop in for a cold one (or 10! Make it an East Coast Tour! Can't wait to see your new room. I've just finished another wall of the hallway leading to the Mancave. The newly decorated wall is a family sports/activity wall. With pictures of my son and I when I was coaching him, my daughter and I when I was coaching her in softball, some of their team pictures as well as some of my daughter's dance pictures from when she was younger. No pics yet but by next week, I'll have a couple. Go Habs Go!
