  1. Last I heard was Bosh and LeBron both wanting to sign with the Bulls. If that's the case, it might be the start of another era of great basketball in Chicago. LeBron must be getting antsy for that first championship. Without the big prizes, he can never really go head-to-head with Michael Jordan in the annals of basketball history.

  2. There is an overall point that I forgot to mention when bringing up the Jim Joyce incident in regards to the lost perfect game. That is, Joyce owned up to his mistake. How often do we see this? Certainly not often enough.

Yeah, I was so angry with that whole situation at first. But then I got to thinking, and saw some interviews of Joyce and whatnot, and I just felt bad for him as much as the pitcher. It was obvious that Joyce just made a mistake, an honest mistake, and he felt truly awful about it.

And also, in a player's poll after that, Joyce was voted the favorite ump among players. That says something right there. Poor guy, he'll never forget it. Bud Selig could have set a good precedent and made everyone involved's lives so much better.

  3. Big Fan: 7/10

It was pretty good. Even though the guy (Patton Oswalt, who is actually a better actor that I thought he'd be) is a New York Giants fan, I could kind of identify with how much he loved his team. It's got some really funny scenes, and some scenes that are uncomfortable to watch. It's not nearly as much a comedy as I expected though, more of a dramedy. Great climax, totally unexpected. It's from the director/writer of The Wrestler, and it shares some of the same characteristics. However, it is not as good of a film as that was.
