  1. I think that one and Hot Rats trade places for favorite depending on mood.
  2. Go back a couple of pages to check the last time I posted.
  3. So do I, and that's why one like Hang 'Em High which is, in my opinion, much weaker than others like Good, the Bad, and the Ugly, Outlaw Josey Wales, High Plains Drifter, Fistful of Dollars, Unforgiven, etc. doesn't deserve a score as high a score.
  4. More recent listenings: Albert Ayler - Spiritual Unity Tom Waits - Swordfishtrombones Maria Tanase - Malédiction d' Amour Nara Leão - Dez Anos Depois Arthur Russell - World of Echo Steve Reich - Drumming, Music for 18 Musicians Abe Schwartz - Klezmer King John Zorn - Naked City
  5. Chris, we hardly knew ye. Come back soon.
  6. Never had a new car in my life. I didn't get my license until I was 25 and have been driving other people's cast offs ever since.
  7. I'm about to start watching Fawlty Towers tonight; that gets my vote as the funniest show to ever appear on television.
  8. Maybe he'll surprise us. He filled in admirably when called upon in Dallas, so hopefully he'll do the same in Montreal if need be.
  9. Fishing with John John Lurie of the Lounge Lizards takes 5 guests on fishing trips throughout the world: Thailand, Jamaica, Long Island, Maine, Costa Rica.
