Yes on par with his usual all star level. bash on.

No, the usual middle-of-the-pack #3/fringe #2 (#2 on a mediocre team, like ours) that Weber has been capable of for the last six seasons.

You're witnessing what happens when a team tries to build around an obsolete play style. But it's always someone else's fault, eh?

  2. Every year, I do at least one of these Sabres GDTs. Because like any sane person, I hate Buffalo. The hockey team, of course. The best Buffalo Sabres moment in history was Brett Hull. But I'm also not so hot on Buffalo the city, either. There's nothing to like about Buffalo, not even the wings. The only wings I want tonight are free wings at Cage for my friends north of the border

All the good pictures of the Habs and Sabres I could find had players who aren't here anymore, so that's no fun.

said it when it happened, and its more true with every day that passes:

one of the worst trades we have ever made.

Its a little annoying to me actually how much of a pass this guy gets. Granted he broke the 10 goal barrier, which is good, but the PP is in last place, which he is apparently a specialist at quarterbacking.  Outside of that, he is slow even when hes at 100%, and when he inevitably gets banged up like he has been for half the year and especially is right now, hes utterly immobile.

Its now or never to trade him, which we should and for whatever we can get, but we won't, and it's frustrating.

    First bold: yep.

Second bold: we're already up a creek on that.

Drouin actually is what every dumb guy thinks the skill player on their favourite team is....

...The biggest concern with Drouin is whether or not the team is realistic in what he provides.

I sincerely doubt it, given the recent track record.

I love my team and I love the people on Tsn 690 for the shout out. Without going to detail, we've had some bad news this week concerning my wife's health. Putting things into perspective in what's important in life. Just when you think it's only a hockey game.... just WOW.

Nothing but the best to your family, Habby. Please know that we're all rooting for her, and that the whole forum cares.

We'll get 'em next year, habs_93! Next year!

I'm starting to think it's going to be something we tell our grandchildren about.

"Sit down here, sonny boy, and I'll tell you the story about the time the Montreal Canadiens beat the San Jose Sharks in San Jose!"

"That's just an old myth, Grandpa. Everyone knows the Habs have never won in San Jose."
