  1. I was pondering something and although I wouldn't want to see this happen, it is the only solution that would kind of save face... I think Pacioretty was the wrong choice for captain. I think he should be stripped, but that would look really bad "unclassy" and classiness is almost as important as a french speaking coach is to the organization. My solution would be to trade Pacman for something good. I am making no trade proposals, maybe someone else can or at least offer an opinion. I think if pacman was traded and Gallagher was named captain that would save the team from the embarrassment of acknowledging that they made a mistake. That is probably one of the reasons Bergevin won't fire Therrien.
  2. I apologize if my words are too honest and it offends anyone but Kassian is only twenty four and guys don't really mature until we reach twenty five. MB needs to get off his high horse, focus on getting Zk the help he needs, and look at the real flaws of this team=Therrien and Desharnais. Until he opens his eyes in regards to the real problem why the habs won't win a cup, (MT couldn't do it in Pittsburgh) he shouldn't say more than, "Zack Kassian was in a car accident caused by a female driver. He should have known better, but we will get him the help he needs and take it from there."
  3. Predicting Every NHL Team's Top Rookie for the 2015-16 NHL Season http://bleacherreport.com/articles/2523110-predicting-every-nhl-teams-top-rookie-for-the-2015-16-nhl-season/page/17 Stats: Montreal Canadiens right wing Nikita Scherbak scored 27 goals and 82 points in 65 games last season with the WHL's Everett Silvertips. The 19-year-old also collected eight points in 11 playoff games. Profile: A skilled offensive winger, the Russian-born Scherbak experienced little difficulty adjusting to the North American game. He's also filling out his 6'2” frame, weighing in at 195 pounds. Scherbak has also improved his skating and defensive skills. Outlook: The Canadiens lack scoring depth at right wing, as the skill level drops sharply behind Brendan Gallagher. With his offensive talent, Scherbak has a decent shot at making the Habs lineup this fall.
  4. Thanks but I'm confused because he is listed as a player on the roster, so shouldn't he be in players?
  5. Where is the thread for the defensemen from Tampa, Mark Barberio? I'm hoping maybe he can replace Gilbert and Tinordi or Pateryn can replace Emelin or some thing. Maybe he is a backup for when Markov burns out. Either way where can this comment be moved to and what thread can it be in?
  6. Hey guys. I'm new to this site. I hope I'm following the rules and introducing myself before posting but I'm excited to join the conversation. I'm going to post in... it's probably fitting to be posted in Rumors. I'm excited to hear your thoughts!
