  1. Our last meaningless game before our B2B home openers for Leafs and Sabres. The situation has changed with the Price news. I know Allen will likely get the start but i would really like to see one more game out of Primeau. Not crazy about the waiver pick up guy with his NHL stats. Time to give the kid a bit of NHL experience IMO.
  2. On her personal site,,, his wife is hinting strongly that it's a mental issue.
  3. With the defence MB has iced for this team this year,,,, 30 days could seem like an eternity. This division is already going to be the toughest to come out of. Without a healthy and on his game Price, we could be talking lottery pick by Christmas.
  4. With Price out for the foreseeable future i think it's time to reconsider who gets the backup job behind Allen. Personally i would go with Primeau at this time. This is an ideal situation for him to get some NHL experience and to see if he's actually a true big league goalie.
  5. Canadiens general manager Marc Bergevin said Price will miss a minimum of 30 days, adding he was confident the 34-year-old would return this season. “I didn’t see it coming,” Bergevin said of learning Price would be taking a leave from the team. “It caught me off guard.”
  6. Really hope it's a short term situation for Price. Hard to picture a guy like him dealing with anxiety issues as he seems so well grounded all the time. On the hockey side of things,,,,, this is really beginning to look like a wash for this season.
  7. Watched a bit of that game but this analysis says it all,,, The Leafs were curiously matching lines to ensure that stars like John Tavares, William Nylander, and Mitch Marner played against AHL players like Alex Belzile, Michael Pezzetta, and Raphael Harvey-Pinard. It definitely worked, but seems an odd strategy to prepare elite players by
  8. May have to watch a period of this game just to see what MB sees in this guy.
  9. You guys are getting better and better at self moderating. Who the hell needs us? I know kinot will be the first to agree. For the record, lines did get blurred a bit with the Archibald reference. Pretty easy to do. Thanks for taking this back on topic.
  10. That's why there was no duplicate thread this time around.

  13. We seem to be a better team at home then on the road so far. Quite the opposite of last year. Just about seen my full of this one. Check in later.
  14. Well,,,, that's about all i can stomach. Wanted to see what Niku was all about but that's out the door.
  15. So nice to see the refs in full regular season form. Going to be another fun year with the best of the best.
  16. Canadiens’ Bergevin has strong case for lucrative contract extension (msn.com)
  17. You mean you actually looked for a change? That should actually be the name of this thread because everybody knows who did it.
  18. Who gets axed after this one? Canadiens look for answers at blue line, centre ahead of final pre-season week (msn.com)
  19. Not sure the Habs would be willing to part with their 1st this year with the draft being in Montreal
  20. Montreal Canadiens Marc Bergevin Geoff Molson - TSN.ca
  21. KK with a goal and an assist after 1 period tonight.
  22. If and when this lineup gets healthy, it's really tough to envision where a guy like Byron will slot in.
  23. Yeah, i have to agree. As much as i hate watching pre season hockey,, i made a point of watching last nights game just to see how the 2 kids on D would make out,, and i was left impressed by Guhle. Realizing it's only one meaningless game i'm not going so far as to say he should be in the lineup, but it was a pleasure to see how close he may be.
