  1. The top three teams in each division will make up the first 6 teams in the playoffs. The remaining two spots will be filled by the next two highest-placed finishers in the conference, based on regular-season record and regardless of division. It is possible for one division in each conference to send five teams to the postseason while the other sends just three.

Didn't look very precautionary. He skated off putting no weight on the leg and didn't return. Didn't look like a risk of broken bone, so not like he was just going for an x-ray. Either he had pain or swelling. Best case scenario is that it's a deep bruise and he misses a couple of days. Worst case scenario is that it's a ligament or meniscus and he needs surgery. This team has nothing behind Galchenyuk at center. After Price, he's probably the least replaceable player on the team.

If it ends up being an extended injury, we all know who gets bumped to the first line, and i can guarantee you it won't be Pleks.

  4. We haven't been terrible at all on this road trip. We held our own vs the Ducks and Sharks and now have beaten the Kings (for the second time). Maybe this team is better then we suspect? I think it was a good strategy to play a more open game tonight rather then try to contain this team of giants defensively. Trading chances when you have a Price in goal is not a bad idea in regular season play.

A win in St. Louis and we can go home with smiles.
