I hate to disagree :( but the only place I could find a chronological list showed 52nd as Mike Bossy in 1980-81, 68 goals with the Islanders.

http://www.sportscity.com/nhl/nhl-50-goal-scorers.

As far as Canadiens go, Pierre Larouche and Guy Lafleur both did the trick in 1979-80, 41st and 42nd respectively.

Of course that list could be wrong, just couldn't find anything else to go on.

:unsure::blink:

It's the right source. But some players had multiple 50 goal seasons.

A slight tricky I admit my friend. ;)

You are correct once again FL! :D

Your go!

Very tricky. :P I still feel pretty dumb for needing a hint.

MN JEOPARDY 52!!!

A 2-parter:

152: The Canadiens most goals against at home, scored in this year.

52: The second fewest goals against at home, scored in this year.

Pretty hard to find so here is my guess:

Part 1 - What is the 1983-84 season?

Part 2 - What is the 1955-56 season?

MN Jeopardy 52

Who is the first player to score "exactly" 52 goals in an NHL seson and the last player to score 52 goals in an NHL season?

First - Who is Bobby Hull with the Chicago Blackhawks in 1966-67?

Last - Who is Ilya Kovalchuk with the Atlanta Thrashers in 2007-08?

MN JEOPARDY Fifty-freakin'-two!!!!!!!!! ... (still)

This Hockey Hall of Fame member, inducted in 1952, won the Stanely Cup twice with Montreal, though he never played for the Canadiens.

He played for Montreal HC of the CAHL (Canadian Amateur Hockey League) where he won 2 Stanley Cups in 1902 and 1903. He founded the Montreal Wanderers and won 4 more Stanley Cups as their Manager.

Who is Dickie Boon?

Good answer. I guess I should have said he won 6 Cups.
