My favorites also there...

Not familiar though with Lonnie brooks ( I'll have to youtube him out  )....here's some more I listen to blues man that you most likely heard of....

Luther Allison ( blows me away ) ;)

King Ernest ( no many albums out but good stuff....was around for a while before his passing)

Sue Foley

LiL' Ed & the blues imperials

Charlie Musselwhite

Albert King

'

i'd rather listen to albert than anyone, but he's not my favorite performer by any means. (don't ask  )

lonnie is absolutely authentic though. whatever he plays is his. that's why i love the guy's music. it may not be the best music, but it's him.

king i never heard of or foley either.

lil ed. oh yeah!

charlie musselwhite is a great starter blues artist- to my mind.

yep

NEVER, but NEVER show your horse you know how to work. it's worse than playing fetch. he's going to rip it shreds before the winter is over with his sad eyes pointing in the wrong direction. :D:rolleyes:

I'd be willing to bet that most people here havent heard of a lot of the bands/artists I listen to

You may be surprised... As long as it's not techno, house, dance or rap, I probably have heard them. Not saying I like them, but probably heard them.

Use to be heavy in the music scene in the 90's. Played with a lot of bands who are known today.

Let us know & we'll let you know. :)

FS, I do listen to a fair bit of rap. Such as John Robinson, Mic Boyd, CRS and Tyler The Creator. But also the ones you have heard of like Biggie, Eminem and Tupac.

Also a lot of pop punk like The Wonder Years, Set Your Goals, Four Year Strong and Comeback Kid.

I listen to some rock and 90's-early 2000's pop punk that a lot of you definitely know like Blink-182, Treble Charger, Third Eye Blind and Nine Days. I love that older 90's-2000 stuff.

Blink-182 and Oasis are my favorite bands of all time !! And (it's kind of random) I like Ronan Keating :P

I think that one and Hot Rats trade places for favorite depending on mood.
