Roger Clemens got off with a mistrial when prosecutors tried to introduce evidence that was disallowed by the judge. He had been charged with lying to Congress about steroid use. Shortly afterwards, he was outside signing autographs.

Its against the law to tell congress you didn't use steroids when you did? or is it just a YOU LIED TO CONGRESS law?

and for that last part: :lol: :lol:

Victor Martinez scores Detroit's first run a a play he should have been out by about 15 feet. The throw was on the first base side and Oakland catcher Kurt Suzucki attempted to tag Martinez. Martinez sidestepped home plate rather than slide and Suzuki attempted to tag Martinez again, Martinez reach back with his arm to successfully touch home plate. The play was No. 1 on ESPN's Top Ten Plays for Tuesday.

There have been reports on other Giants fans on opening day this season including a woman who also had something thrown at her. There were witness accounts of the suspects bragging about their attack on Bryan Stow, but these people have apparently backed off of those statements.

Los Angelos Angels pitcher Ervan Santana pitches the team's first no hitter since Mike Witt's closing day perfect game on September 30, 1984 in a 3-1 win against Cleveland. Cleveland's leadoff batter reach on an error and I'm guessing stole third and scored on a infield out because there a multitude of ways runs can be scored without a hit.

zambrano :blink::mellow::angry::(

He got himself put on the disqualified list after throwing two brushback pitches to Chipper Jones after giving up home runs to Freddie Freeman and Dan Uggla. He was one of two pitchers to give up five home runs in a game Friday night. The other was CC Sabbathia. Zambrano has thrown tirades before and he has hinted he may retire.
