Detroit takes two out of three from Pittsburgh as Max Scherzer strikes out a career high 15 batters, all swinging strikes. Scherzer made only two mistakes, a high fastball to Rod Barajas who sent it into the left field seats. The other was a hanging slider to Neil Walker who launched it 407 feet into the right field seats.
