if we must stink for 5 minutes per game, lets pool those five minutes into one game only (pick any of the remaining 8) and play a full good sixty minutes in the other 7. We could end up with a 7-1-0 record or even 7-0-1 or 8-0-0 since playing for 20 minutes only in a game doesn't automatically mean a loss. OK, now I'm giving myself a headache

Your over-thinking again CRB

I think the person who won that game last night was Lindy Ruff. If you listened to the guys on TSN they sat there talking about how pissed he was and how in the face he was of the refs calls. Once that was done we didn't receive another penalty for the rest of the night. We were handed 6 straight penalties and not one emotion coming from behind our bench. If you don't think these refs are intimidated by a coach in their face then think again. Price deserved that win, our team deserved that win but when you can't finish on your chances you leave the other team a glimmer of hope. This game should not have been close Habs should have been up 6-0 by the middle of the third but we can't finish. Always trying to make the perfect pass instead of shooting the dang puck. I was soooo disgusted with last night. I said with three minutes to go that we were going to lose this game when they pulled Miller. How can you not even get one clear out of your end? Oh thats right you put the smallest line on the ice to kill the penalty at 6 on 4. Why can't the Canadiens get a decent coach?

We should have had a few more for sure, but either Miller was there, or the shooter hit him. However, the one Gomez wiffed on  would have won us the game. Too bad, Price deserved a win, he played a great game.

As far as I'm concerned, after last nights performance, Price deserves the start tonight. The only question I have is which player on the Habs is going to take a stupid, stupid penalty tonight with less than 4 minutes left in the third period?

This year as seemed to be worse than any for the reffing, especially against Buffalo, anybody remember The Chris Lee fiasco? I can't count on two hands the amount of times all we have to do is win the face-off and we win the game, or clear the zone and we win the game and we don't and we lose or it goes to O/T. Is it coaching? Is it defense? I don't know but whatever it is they better get over it and win.

Has it been confirmed Price is in net ? I thought Halak would split the back to back. Although Carey derserved the win after what he did and i still cant believe the last 5 minutes :(

Actually Halak is in tonight as per Habs Inside/Out.

Maxim is out tonight too (good!). He's just not himself this year.

I think at this point in the year all the playoffs is going to get us is 4 more games to be disappointed in!!!

Confirmed:

Lapierre & Moen IN

Darche & Metropolit OUT

Boy JM's decisions keep getting better and better. What purpose does he have in playing Lapierre. The dude has earned nothing this year and you take out Metro. Wow JM you are clouded in your judgement.

 gonna be interesting to see how the moral is after that debacle from last night. haven't said too many nice things about CAREY this season but,he played great last night and gets rewarded by riding pine? hmmmmmm!! long stretch now.3 striaght games in 3 straight nights.now we will see how much gas n moral is left in this team.

facing another solid goalie tonight.vokoun can be lights out if he gets in a groove.strike first, strike hard, and finish hard for the love of pete

Well between Metropolit and Maxim... I guess we just get the size factor. Both players don't do much as far as I'm concerned. As long as Maxim doesn't get a stupid penalty we are good.

But Moen for Darche? Darche has half the points Moen does already and Moen's played 3 times as many games not to mention he just suffered a pretty bad facial laceration...
