2013/14 State of the Hamilton Bulldogs

On the positive side Bulldogs beat Rockford Icehogs 5-4 in overtime

-Leblanc with a goal an 2 assists

-Andrighetto with 2 goals

It's too bad Leblanc has been stuck with linemates that have hands of stone since Lefebvre joined the team. Every time he gets the puck he's forced to try and make a play on his own because he knows what will happen. Fortunately tonight things worked out for him.

Andrighetto is going to be a great player for the Dogs unless he's called up. His line with Duffy and Nystrom was by far the best line for the Dogs tonight. Their puck control and chemistry is incredible. Unfortunately Lefebvre coaches this team so I expect Dumont or Tarnasky to make an appearance on that line.

OH MY GOD, please fire this guy. He sounds like he's trying to coach a local men's league.

Thank goodness. Hopefully this trend continues!

Yeah. Him and Mayer were splitting games to start the season, but Tokarski was clearly playing better and the starter job is his to lose now(don't know why it was even a question in the first place with the way he played last year).

They don't look overly good on paper but yeah coaching does seem to be a pretty serious issue

Well their defense was pretty good when Nygren was still there. They still did bad though.

And when healthy their forwards actually are pretty okay.

Andrighetto - St.Pierre - Leblanc

Holland - Dumont - Thomas

Blunden - Duffy - Fournier

Tarnasky - Nattinen - Courtnall

But Lefebvre likes Macenauer and Tarnasky on the top 3 lines and they've had some health issues.

They have an almost PPP center, 3(used to be 4) great defencemen, and some other great forwards. Tokarski was playing really well for them but is struggling as of late. Mayer is inconsistent as always, and Condon has only played one game.
