The Canadiens are listed at 40-1 to win the Stanley Cup in the latest odds released Friday by the Bodog betting website. The Canadiens had been listed at 33-1 odds on Nov. 1

Bodog has the Tampa Bay Lightning now listed as the favourites to win the Cup at 7-1 odds, followed by the Toronto Maple Leafs and St. Louis Blues at 8-1, and then the Columbus Blue Jackets, Nashville Predators, Pittsburgh Penguins and Winnipeg Jets all at 12-1.

The Arizona Coyotes are the biggest longshot to win the Cup, listed at 1,000-1.

Sergachev is 5 GP away from nullifying the draft picks involved in the Drouin trade; once he's played game No. 40, Habs keep the 2nd RD pick that was to go to TB; Bolts keep the 6th Rd pick that was to go to Montreal.

Well, at least Sergachev has helped us some small amount after we traded him away!

Perfect storm scenario: Deslauriers boards Sergachev tonight, injuring him for 3 months. He returns and manages to play 3 additional games later in the year. The Lightning retain the 2nd round pick.
