The New York Islanders have announced that they have re-signed restricted free agent defenseman Ryan Pulock to a two-year, $10 million contract.

I thought that was a moderate overpay by $1m - how they will resign Barzal will be interesting

Maybe Lou hopes Pulock will remember this contract, when he becomes an UFA at the end of it. He will definitely be one of the top UFA defensemen on the open market. Maybe Lou should have locked Pulock up longer term?  Big risk.

The Anaheim Ducks have signed No. 6 overall pick Jamie Drysdale to a three-year contract. CapFriendly reports  that the deal pays $925K in the NHL and $80K in the AHL (both entry-level maximums) while having an additional $850K in potential performance bonuses each year. As Drysdale is ineligible to play in the AHL next season, his options will be Anaheim or Erie.
