Nashville reportedly in on Karlsson. What would that deal look like? You've got to imagine Ellis would be part of the deal, and I doubt they're moving Tolvanen. Ellis+Fabbro+1st for Karlsson+Ryan? kinot-2 0
New York Rangers goal-scoring winger Rick Nash is getting shipped off to Boston. The 33-year-old has been acquired by the Bruins for a 2018 first-round pick, a 2019 seventh-round pick, prospect defenceman Ryan Lindgren as well as forwards Ryan Spooner and Matt Beleskey. The Rangers will also reportedly retain 50 per cent of Nash's salary for the rest of the season, while the Bruins will be on the hook for half of the two years left on Beleskey's deal, according to TSN's Bob McKenzie. IMO Subban is the best defenceman in the league right now, with Karlsson having an off-year. And Josi is probably top 5-10, with Nashville having 4 top 100 guys in all... that back end is really something.

kinot-2 0
SEATTLE — A group looking to bring NHL hockey to Seattle says it has received over 25,000 deposits for season tickets through a ticket drive. The Los Angeles-based Oak View Group said on Twitter that it hit its initial goal of 10,000 deposits in 12 minutes. Thursday's ticket drive was another step toward putting another NHL team in the Pacific Northwest after the group led by billionaire David Bonderman and filmmaker Jerry Bruckheimer submitted an expansion application to the league in February. The expansion fee is expected to be around US$650 million.
