I think the first 2 months are pretty tough but if we can play .500 hockey until Weber gets back we have a really good chance of winning some games the last half of the season, If Shaw  can start playing in October that will help. Looking at Carey's two starts that optimism is feeling a little more like a heavy case of denial due to some new rose coloured glasses. :freu1: Vegas or :5064: baby!!!!!!

Has he ever looked good in the preseason though?  I mean most vets 'coast' a little - as a goalie you gotta think the absolute worst thing you could do is overexert yourself in the preseason & tweak a groin or something before the games even count.

I thought at times he looked really good and other times not so much but Im not too worried yet.  Bring on the regular season & lets see what CP we've got this year.

Optimist primed. Gotta be cheering for something and the cellar is too dark and dreary. We should know in a month if we're headed in the right direction.
