Jets up 2-0 Mathews still out

The hit on Matthews didn't seem that vicious or enough to hurt just on account of the velocity of it. So guessing he must actually have separated his shoulder or broken his collarbone or something.

Weird end to the 2nd. Lacklustre turnover, Bruins guy falls on a breakaway, then they still force Price to make a sharp glove save on a long shot.

Been a lot of falling and bad bounces. I think the ice may be crap in there tonight. All the signs are there

That shoulder was drooping as he walked off.

At least the team didn't concede any goals this period.  ^_^ Hope they step it up for the final 3rd.

But management and coaching simply can't rid themselves of the conservative, risk-adverse streak!  It's like "what are they so scared of"?  It's a serious, deep-seated organizational cultural disease! :5155:

How long are they going to shelter JK on the 3rd and expect him to grow and develop better?  Why draft Scherbak and Hudon if the organization doesn't use them?  What's the point of hoarding young prospects but being so scared to deploy them in the first team?  Scared of losing? Well, losing has been the usual staple over the last 2 seasons.  Scared of missing the play-offs?  This team can't realistically contend for the Cup this season.  If you can't win the Cup, it doesn't matter if you're don't qualify or get bounced before the Finals!

All the more reasons for the Laffs to hang on to Nylander and Kadri. Those two are NOT on the trading block period.

Dubas has been scouting games across North America and the story is that neither side is moving on their ask/offer. He's got just over a month to get it done or the guy sits all year. Something has to give.

It's not as if the Habs have any serious intent or interest to acquire them.  It's just not happening, so none of our concern.

Rumour is that 15 teams have expressed interest. I'm betting we're one of the OTHER 15.

Well the pundits say Bergevin calls every GM about everyone. They say he always sniffs around any available player. That's not the issue. The problem is what he values as a good trade, especially when it's high stakes.
