On the tail end of another back 2 back our beloved Habs travel to Detroit to play the Dead Wings.

Weber, who took a puck in the face last night, may or may not play.

It would be nice to see Tatar light up his former team.

Thankfully the Xrays show no fracture.  He flew with the team so I suspect he'll play.

Meanwhile, David Schlemko cleared waivers.   Really curious to see if he's traded now that one of his former teams could take him & assign him to their farm team for insurance down the road.  Or maybe thats all we want to do.

The Red Wings are 2-6-2 in their last 10 games and are currently 11 points out of a wild-card spot.

Howard has an 11-11-5 record with a 2.78 goal-against average and a .917 save percentage

Dylan Larkin is the centrepiece of the Red Wings’ rebuilding efforts and the 22-year-old leads the team with 18 goals and 41 points.

Gustav Nyquist is next with 36 points, including 10 goals. Andreas Athanasiou has 15 goals while Tyler Bertuzzi and Anthony Mantha have each scored 10.

DeLo and Chaput by the looks of things.  I think those are the only changes.

Can't afford to go back there. Cost $550 2 years ago just for 2  seats in the nose bleeds. Cost $156 US,  for 2 in the nose bleeds in Detroit.

Gonna be a real late call on my part. They need to be in or close to a playoff spot and depends on the weather forecast in Montreal. It won't be cheap so it needs to be worth the effort.

They need to try KK on the 1st wave. Seems nobody has been able to feed Weber of late and if anybody can find him it would be KK
