WJC And All That It Encompasses

The world juniors begin on Dec. 26 in the Czech Republic. I'm not sure who of our draft pics will be playing as yet, as the teams are not set yet. 

I wonder if Czech Hab will go. :)

I think i read that Romanov was a given (didn't think he was eligible) and Caufield should be a go for the US

Just had a quick look at the rosters. Both are on their respective teams. 

Side note. Canada won their pre tournament game 3-0 today

That's weird, as I just left the IIHF site and they didn't have them.

TSN lists the following 

Norlinder - Sweden

Romanov - Russia

Caufield and Harris for the U.S.A.

I thought Yelonen also made the roster but don't see him on the list

Bottom line,,,, we have 3 draft picks at this years worlds. Jacob Olofsson (MTL) of Sweden,

Next up, Canada VS the U.S. at 1 EST. 

Canada is 32-11-2 against the U.S. and has outscored them 185-131 at the tournament.

Watching the games so far  all I can say is we thought the NHL refs were bad, this is horrible. Should still be a fun tournament anyway.
