You should. We're not being outplayed, we're just (once again) getting horrid luck).

Lots of game left.  Keep playing like this & les boys will win.

For those that dont know, in last year's CHL playoffs, Nick Suzuki's team was down 3-0 and they came back to win 7-3.  Then the next series down 3-1 and came back to win.

Go Nick! Bring some good luck.

I wish I wasn't stuck with the NBCSN homer feed... terrible experience.

Is our PK just that good? Or are they just that bad?

A little push back, but we're not playing disciplined hockey. Can only take so many penalties.  I don't wanna be right by predicting more than 5+ penalties.

Methinks it depends on who our PKers are at the time.

Looking forward to see if they keep calling cross checks for the rest of the game consistently.

Still the better team this period despite being down by 1.

That's what sucks.  We've lost @ least 2 games, by being the better team.

If they keep playing like that and can stay out of the box, we'll be OK.

Though down 2-1 we had a good period and if we keep playing like that 5 might work.

Yeah, once again we're clearly the better team... no idea why they're up by one.

What an awful period for Weber. Tipped a goal into his own net, got caught flat-footed a couple of times, and took a bad penalty. Chiarot also looking awful. And everyone else's rhythm looks broken by the string of penalty kills. We looked like we started the game well and then got deflated by the Flyers' goals. Seems like we've put more goals past Carey than Philly has. Not a good recipe for winning.

Here's the thing: we al know they won't. Technically that's a penalty but if they called all of those, the entire game would be 3v3.

Habs have 9 controlled zone entries into Philly zone. Kotkaniemi has 4 of them.

Agree. I'll cut him some slack since he's been so dominant for most of the playoffs but if Weber is as tired (or maybe injured) as he looks, this does not bode well for him/us.

Can you imagine how good he'll be once he has a dominant winger to play with? Like if Caufield or Ylonen work out?

Suzuki and KK give me some hope for the future. they have arrived they do not look out of place at all in the playoffs and will only get better with time.

Recurrent discussion, it seems. Weber has been fantastic mostly since the return to play. But if he can only play 9 games before running out of gas, he doesn't have much value as a NHLer in a usual year. We're lucky the COVID break helped our older vets, but like I said at the start of the playoffs, not confident our Weber/Petry/Price's were likely to hold up for 5 series.
