That poll. :4224:

I think we will come out strong get the win.  I know that Vegas has looked very good for stretches but so far they have scored 6 goals and I would say 4 of them have been fluky.   Dont get me wrong, this is a team that makes their own luck - they are relentless and they push hard - but I also think if we get the bounces for a change, we will be competitive.

Pundit’s prediction for the next game? Leafs win. Book it!

I actually think we’ll do well at home as the VGK won’t be able to rely on their fans to get them going.

Ya, and they won't know how to handle the colder weather either. :P

Ducharme is self isolating at home due to irregular Covid testing results.

I really hope he's OK and cleared. When you go into an American arena with a full house of screaming fans,, the risk increases substantially,,,, vaccinated or not.

Ugg. this isnt ideal. I know the guys know what they need to do & im sure the assistants will have a good handle on things but having him there for changes on the fly would be good.

Obviously his health is #1 priority so hoping everything is ok.

Yeah,,,, the worst case scenario for the team is that he tests positive and is lost to us for the rest of this series.

They were in a bubble and flew back on a private plane... if he got it... makes me really concerned someone else might too...  I know they are all vaccinated but...

They all did receive their 2nd shots but it was less then 2 weeks ago i believe,,,, so there is still risk. Unfortunately the bubble didn't protect them from 17000 screaming fans at an indoor setting. If he is positive it's likely he'll have no symptoms to mild ones ( i would hope). A lot of the other American teams with fans didn't open the sections directly behind the players benches. Not the case in Vegas with their full house.

For sure.

The reports are that "The Canadiens say Ducharme will undergo further tests before the game." so I guess that means he may still be available - they are just trying to determine if the test as an outlier - a false positive and there's nothing to worry about etc.

The Canadiens opened the scoring in 10 of their playoff 13 games, and outscored opponents by a 12-3 margin in the first period. The Golden Knights have been outscored 15-8 in first period and opened the scoring in only five of their 15 playoff games.

Stephenson apparently not playing.

Interestingy theyve gone with Tuch in his place.    Patches - Tuch - Stone ... a scary line but really stacking one line which is not what most teams would want to do against a team that has Phil Danault to play against... will be interesting how this plays out.

Dreger says Ducharme's test has been confirmed positive, so he's out 10 days. Have to wait and see if anyone else turns positive over next few days, this could really derail the playoffs and our chances going forward.

The radio Fan590 , If any players test positive the game will be cancelled. I guess this is what happens when they open up rinks in  the USA and let anyone into a game

Yikes.

Well hopefully he is healthy, first and foremost.  Then I hope the coaching staff can fill in for him.  Bouchard has also been with the team (working with the extras) so I wonder if he will be behind the bench tonight.  Lets hope no one else tests positive.

And yeah this is pretty frustrating & exactly why there shouldnt be fans in the seats right now (other than how they've done it, intelligently, in some buildings.

Everyone tested this morning. Only Ducharme tested positive . Everyone being tested again . If no one else tests positive the game is expected to go on (Renaud Lavoie)

Ducharme's positive test occurred either Jun 16 after the game or Jun 17th, not sure which. So he could theoretically be back around Jun 26 or 27. Game 7 would be scheduled for Jun 26th.

Bouchard reportedly left the bubble after the Winnipeg series, so he's also not a short-term option.

MB presser starting now...
