Agreed. He wouldn't have had any hidden agendas. He's a clear thinker and analyzes all sides. A true Leader, and not a follower.

The difference between an academic and a drama teacher.

Did the Canadiens muck up the prospects or were the prospects never going to be top NHL players to begin with .

Tinordi, Beaulieu, Mete are replaceable NHL D men

Leblanc, Scherbak, Andrighetto arent in the NHL

Hudon signed with Tampa

Alex G doesn't have an NHL contract and is on his 6 th NHL team

These players all had an opportunity to go elsewhere but same thing happened

I agree with this. Players are more responsible for their own development. Gallagher as an example. Same year Tinordi was drafted in the first round.

Same team same coaches same development with one exception Gallagher worked much harder at his trade.

Arturi Lekonen, same year Michael MCarron was drafted in the first round, dela rose 9 picks later

Same team same coaches same development with one exception Arturi worked much harder at his trade.

If it was just development you would think one of the players mentioned in previous post would have found there game with another organization. None did in some cases acually became worse player ALA Subban ALA Galchnyk ...

Lehkonen never played in the AHL. He went right from playing in Finland to joining the Habs. Gallagher spent only half a year there and did so because of the lockout. Emelin, Galchenyuk, Sergachev, Mete, Kotkaniemi, Romanov... all bypassed the AHL before joining the Habs. The fact is that just about every player who spent a year or more in the AHL with Lefebvre seems to have flopped at the NHL level. And those who went directly to the NHL, while faring better, have had difficulties meeting expectations. But then you look at guys who got traded at an early age, like Sergachev, Hainsey, McDonagh, Grabovski, etc and those players seemed to flourish elsewhere, so there are examples of guys who have done well after trades.
