Indianapolis signs Quaterback Kerry Collins. They were trying to coax Brett Favre out of retirement, but this time, he had the good sense to stay retired. This may be a quick fix due to the fact Peyton Manning remains sidelined with a neck injury with no apparent timetable for his return.

Week One and already our snooze play of the year so far. Cincinnati backup quarterback Bruce Gradkowski throws a 41 yard touchdown pass to A.J. Green when Cleveland fails to come out of its defensive huddle. The touchdown came with 4:28 left in the game and put Cincinnati ahead 20-17. The Bengals added another touchdown with under two minutes left to make the final score 27-17.

For the second straight week, Detorit overcomes a 20 point deficit to win. This time Detroit trailed Dallas 27-3 in the third quarter before outscoring the Cowboys 31-3 the rest of the way to win 34-30. How does this happen? Dallas quarterback Tony Romo pitched with 3 interceptions, all on ill-advised throws, the first two on consecutive series which were returned for touchdowns.

Detroit's first offensive touchdown came on Matt Stafford pass into triple coverage and the Cowboys still couldn't come up with the ball. Romo's third interception set up the Lions' game winner on a two yard pass to Calvin Johnson despite good coverage and Dallas having 12 men on the field. And worse yet, Dallas lost despite the Lions' inability to run the ball.

To top it off, Felix Jones stepped out of bounds after gaining eight yards on fourth and 20 and forgetting the situation.

Our snooze play of the year. Philadelphia Eagles running back Ricky Green, while being tackled on a running play on third and goal from the two yard line, attempts a forward pass. The end result was a fumble recovered by San Francisco who would win 24-23. Afterward, Green acknowledged he made a poor decision with the ball. The biggest surprise will be if it doesn't end up on ESPN's Not Top Ten plays and I'm thinking maybe number 1.
