Stole a point right there...better than none at all...I wish we'd have kept Antoniuk..

actually after watching a few games of toronto i think that the impact could seriously challenge any team in the mls ...the teams in the mls look really weak

First of all we only lost two players to the MLS.

Adam Braz who is the fat Ronaldo of the TFC but as a right back. The coach said that he wasn't in shape. ;) And Greg Sutton. Sutton is an ordinary GK but if you give him an all star defense he will look like a superstar. Anyways the Impact got a record deal for selling him so it's all good.

Second, the Saputo Stadium is far from being a waste. If anything it's going to boost the clubs reputation and open a possible door for a future Montreal MLS club.

Imagine watching a game in a soccer specific stadium where you're only a few feet away from the field. :)

Finally, all you have to do is watch one game in the Kop with the UM02 and youll be hooked! :)

PS. We are suppose to have a friendly Home and Away series with the TFC this summer. Should be interesting to see what the Impact could do vs an MLS club.

PPS. For those who think the Impact is lame well watch this.

I watched the toronto highlights of their first home game and thought the fans were crazy. Wish more MLS stadiums were as loud as that game.

MIAMI, Florida - A goal from forward Charles Gbeke (69th minute) led the Montreal Impact to its second win of the season, blanking the Miami FC 1-0, Saturday, at the Tropical Park Stadium, in Miami, Florida.

Left alone in front of the Miami goal, Gbeke just pushed the ball in the net, after having accepted a centering pass from forward Frederico Moojen, who came in the game in the beginning of the second half.

"We worked hard all game long and the result came," said Gbeke, who scored his second goal of the season. "Tonight it was like a 12-round boxing showdown. It was hard and physical but we gave the final blow."

The Impact had a one-man advantage at the 43rd minute when Miami midfielder John Pulido was ejected of the game after tackling Impact midfielder Martin Fabro. The Argentinean midfielder did not return in the second half and was replaced by Moojen.

"This win is the result of great team work," said goalkeeper Matt Jordan, who registered his first career-shutout with the Impact, and remains undefeated in three starts. "It was probably the best team we faced so far this season."

The Impact, who outshot Miami 17-7, also won a first game against Miami in three regular-season match-ups, with two 0-0 ties last year.

It was the first game between both clubs this season. The Impact will host the Miami FC on May 25 and August 10.

The Impact will conclude its four-game stretch on the road by taking on the Puerto Rico Islanders, Friday, May 11, (8:00 pm, CJAD, USLlive.com).

The Impact will play its 14th home opener at Claude-Robillard Sports Complex, Sunday, May 20 against the Seattle Sounders.

NEXT GAMES

Date – Teams – Stadium - Time

• Friday, May 11 - Impact @ Puerto Rico - Juan Ramon Loubriel Stadium - 8:00 pm (CJAD 800, USLlive.com)

• Sunday, May 20 - Seattle @ Impact - Claude-Robillard Sports Complex - 4:00 pm (Radio-Canada, Sirius, CJAD 800, USLlive.com)

...

So far so good for our boys in blue! ;)

problem is most big market mls teams play in huge stadiums(boston, Nyc) where as salt lake and dallas have smaller teams, i've noticed that those stadiums seem to have a bigger ambiance, prob because capacity isnt more then 25-30000
