TrudyParson
My real name is Paul, been a habs fan all my life. Thought I'd join in on the discussions here (read this forum as a lurker previously). My fav player changes, as I usually opt for the goalie. I'd say Price right now, with Kovalev and Lapierre as my other choices. All time I'd say of course - Patrick Roy

Yojimbo_mtl
Hi, My real name is Chris Brown and I live in Brooklyn, New York. I grew up a Trail Smoke Eater fan and a Habs fan since my mother is from Montreal. My all-time favorite Canadien is Jean Beliveau and my current favorite is Carey Price. I go and see the Habs whenever they play the Devils, Rangers, or Islanders and I see a lot of Montreal fans. I still haven't found a good New York bar to watch the team, though. I'd like to meet more fellow fans in the city and hopefully find some hidden Habs bar in the area .

svetlana_mtl
I was here, briefly, about a year ago. and signed up. well nearly a year ago. but so what? lol I have liked the habs since 1992 when i chose them as my first fave team. well i still love the habs. but i also became a red wings fan in 1995 both teams habs and wings partially with the help and influence of my dad because his first team is habs and his second is wings but my dad is a BIG habs fan oh yes! long story as to why i chose wings in 1995 (it wasn't cause in 1995 the wings were getting good, trust me i knew nothing of the wings before 1995) but i followed the habs and wings ever since in 2008 shortly before they won i chose wings as my first fave team well wasn't hard to do since i knew their history and players and had been a fan of them since 1995 call me whatever ya want, I've been called everything from a bandwagoner to even being accused of knowing nothing about hockey because I chose holmström as my fave nhl player overall but the habs are my second team and i still love them. always will. as I said when i asked about the address so I could write to some habs players, my fave Hab is Saku and my second fave is Carey. I hope you won't mind having me around, I'm a good person and a good forum member as well. I root for the habs when they play against what i like to call ABD (anybody but Detroit) and no I'm not a danny cleary fan like most Newfoundlanders. i mean i like him, he just isn't my fave. TheMountainKing
Hey, been a fan of Montreal since I was 7 when I got an NHL game for Sega back in 92' I would always pick them and then I started to watch them every chance I had on TV. Loved watching Damphousse and Muller. Plus it was fun rooting for them over Toronto since the rest of my family were Maple Leafs fans. Been lurking on the Gameday boards for a good year now and decided to sign up, so yeah.. Thats that.

puhkbonney
Hi all, I'm much more of a lurker but I thought an introductory post couldn't be that harmful. I'm a twenty-year old student who lives in the city. I really only got into watching hockey last season, so my friends still have to put up with my stupid (often painfully so) questions because I only know what's going on half the time! I blame my father though, he prefers golf to hockey! Despite my ignorance, some of my best memories were captured by a MacBook camera as my friends and I ate tostitos and played drinking games while watching the game. Pillow fights are always certain to follow a goal by our guys. I don't have a favourite player, per se, but I do have a soft spot for Koivu, probably because the only game we ever really watched at home was the first five minutes of Saku's glorious-standing-ovation-return-to-the-game, game. Nice to meet you all, I'm going to put my lurker hat on again, though!

camayne
Hey everyone, my name is Chris, and as my user name explains, I'm a Habs fan in New Jersey, Hawthorne to be exact. I'm 17 years old. My favorite current Habs are the Kostitsyns, Price, and Koivu. All time favorite has to be Roy or Rocket Richard, even though obviously I've never seen him play. My favorite moment has to be my first as a Habs fan. My dad got tickets to a NJ Devils game from someone at his office, and it just happened to be against the Canadiens. I didn't really have a favorite team at the time, but the second I stepped in that arena and saw the sea of Habs fans everywhere, I knew I wanted to be a part of it. Ever since then, I've loved the Habs.
MLSE_Mgmt_A_Disgrace
I'm Matt, from Fredericton, NB right now, but originally from Summerside, PEI. I'm 23 years old and have been a habs fan for years, but only got back into watching the team the last couple of years now that I'm not doing as much work at university as my course work is dying down in my final years here. And being a grad student now helps too . Anyways, my current favorite habs players are Carey Price (He'll be better again), Koivu and D'Agostini. All time favorite hab I'm sure is Patrick Roy. And my favorite habs moment will be April 11 when I will get to see the habs in person for my first time ever (second NHL game ever). I'll be the loud guy in Section 109, Row W in seat 22. Freddy-K
Hi all, i`ve been lurking around the forms for a few days and have decided to jump in. I`m from the East coast, little place called Truro in NS. Been a Hab fan my whole life, well, as far back as I can remember anyway. shield4life
Hello everyone. I'm not a troll just before anyone tends to think different. I'm a Red Wings Fan that lives in Montreal. I find that MTL is one of the greatest historic teams. I'm here to talk hockey and not to fight or troll with people. I checked around the forum, didn't find any place to post that I'm new or something. I watch a lot of Habs / Wings games, so I know pretty much what is going on in both of the organizations pretty good. . I also want to say that this forum is very greatly tooken care of. Great job done by the mods of keeping it neat and clean. Appreciate it thanks guys.

Born: Brampton, ON Live: Hamilton, ON Age: 16 All time Habs player: Guy Lafleur for sure! Favourite current player: Guess who? Haha that's right, I idolize Josh Gorges...I mean, how can you NOT like Gorges? Unfortunately, I have never been to a regular season game...but I have been to a pre season game in Hamilton a long tim eago, and a game in Buffalo a few years ago... Once I get older, I will definitely be goin to several games a season. Every other thing I own is Habs related... HUGE Habs fan here... Started liking them at least 8 years ago..beleive it or not, I was a Dallas Stars fan once upon a time..I have no clue why...and then I was a Leafs fan cause my dad was a Leafs fan...then the switch from a Leafs to Habs fan. Don't remember why or how it happened, but hey..I'm so glad I switched teams. That choice has changed my life.

mlb54
My name is Christopher Originally from Thunder Bay Ontario, now live in Edmonton because there isn't much work for a Civil Engineering Technolgist there. My all time favorite Canadian is Patrick Roy. Even though I cried myself to sleep everynight when Roy was dealt, I found it in me to stay loyal to Canadien de Montreal, still am and always will be. Allthough there are many all time favorite players and it is hard to mentioin one in particular because I believe the best player is a player that can adapt. Guy Carbonneau was adapted well..."If you can't win, help the person in front of you break the record." I might add my step father did a good job informing of how great other montreal canadian greats were. His favorite was Sir Jean Belevieu. He says good things about Sir Bob Gainey, and Sir Larry Robinson too. I don't have a favorite player right now but I can mention a couple. Christopher Higgins because he's good down low and would be even better if he could go to the net more with a quick shot. I also like Gregory Stewart because he threw down with McCabe in his NHL debut. He also demonstrated an awerness for the play and if he is careful to adjust to the NHL tempo will realize his potential. I guess you can say I'm a fan of the unsung heros because I believe they make the real difference. I will never say I like any other team even though I live in Edmonton now because I'm a loyalist, but I will salute the Oilers just not against my boyz....
