Hey everyone,

I'm from Germany and love watching the Canadiens since their incredible Comeback against Rangers. I was really overwhelmed by the game, players like Koivu and Kovalev, and of course by the crowd. I wouldn't say I am a diehard fan because I don't have a special relation to former players or the city because I have never been there (unfortunately). I'm 19 years old.

I don't know so much about hockey (just about hockey in Germany and NHL 11^^) so there will be some ridiculous questions I'll ask.

I'd like to know more about hockey, the Habs and the fans.

And I hope that I'll visit the Bell Centre one day to watch a Canadiens game.

Cheers

Sorry for my bad english :(

Hey! and Welcome aboard. You don't have to have a special relation to former players or the city to be a diehard :P We are all our own fan in our own way. Your English is fine. And hopefully you'll be able to learn a thing or two if you stick around here. Happy posting :)

Hello everyone. Welcome to the new ones and welcome to the other new ones. We're all new here. I'm new here, though appear to share a name with a previous member on the old forum, Cenner Hice. I am more refined and up-to-date as I have an _ in my name. I therefore feel the need to introduce myself. Hello, I'm me.

Which reminds me, what did the cheese say to itself in the mirror? (answer is below)

I live over here (which isn't over there as we're in a different time zone. I think you call it the 1980s).

I've been a Habs fan for about 3 weeks (or 31 years - take your pick) and... oh just yes to all things Habs.

Next question: Which cheese should you use to entice a grizzly away from your property? (answer also below)

Anyway, enough frivolity. My favourite Hab of all time is and remains #10, The Flower.

Who is this hrf about whom you warn us? Will it hurt?

Right (or left), I've got work to do. I'm off to the pub to avoid it.

:D

Answers (just roll over with your mouse type thing):

1: Halloumi

2: Camembert

I am a die hard St.Louis blues fan for almost 20 years. Last year after blues failed to make the playoffs my family and i followed the habs in the playoffs. This is 1st and only time i watched or followed another team. But i was a Halak fan before he came here and would have never of guessed he would become a blues goalie.

Halak is doing great!

I still find myself keeping an eye on habs though. I want to become a Canadien soon.

I plan to move to Montreal and then will be 100% habs fan.

From what i hear and see, Montreal is a beutiful city and Canada is a great country.

Welcome sing. Just a quick note. We have a Halak thread in Around the League forum. I had to delete your comments about him in the Post Game thread,, as it didnt relate to our game vs the Leafs tonight. You can repost them in his thread. ;)

Hey everyone...

I am a long-time Habs fan who lives in Southern California. I will be in Montreal this week and have a ticket to Thursday's game (Dec. 16) against Boston at Bell Centre.

I would like to know if there are any places in the area where Habs fans hang out before and/or after the game. I'm sick to death of Ducks fans and they think-they-know-everything mentality. I'm looking forward to meeting some real hockey fans; fans who know what it's like to be a hockey fan...of a real hockey team.

Any advice or tips would be appreciated. I'll have a camcorder with me, so don't be afraid to let your hair down.
