Hello

My name is hatethosebruins and Im glad to be here

Hmmmm, your name seems familiar, but I think you may have to undergo an "initiation" (to the alley) . There used to be a member with a name and avatar, similar to yours, but he fell of the map. IIRC he was a captain on the forums. You wouldn't be trying to usurp another members name and avatar,,,, would you? That couldn't be you,,,, could it? Naw,,,,,,if it is, then, I think the mods should demote you to "tryout".

:lol::lol: ,, JK, HTB. welcome back.

Oh god not the alley!

I forgot all about that. Is FH_10 still the king there?

Alright, I've been checking up on these forums for the past two years- I even followed game day threads page by page at work instead of just checking up on the score. Never been so happy to see a dancing giraffe in all my life; I guess, I'll start posting.

Hey all,

New to hockey, new to the forums and new to the Habs. English resident here, settled on the habs and can't wait to come over to watch a game or two during the next season! See you guys around the forum

Big welcome. Enjoy our little piece of Hab heaven. :)

Hello,

A friend of mine got me interested in hockey. She is a massive Habs fan, so I kind of just followed the breadcrumbs, so to speak. I've spent the last few weeks binging on Habs videos, articles, history etc. I used to play hockey when I was little, but at some point along the way, soccer took over my life completely. I don't yet consider myself a Habs fan, but I felt nervous during a couple of moments during the game tonight, so I guess I'm a little more emotionally attached than I thought i'd be at this point.

I'm looking forward to interacting with other Habs fans.

Welcome aboard kamil. Like they say, "it's an addiction". Trust your friends instincts, she is right. :)

Habs fan based in Glasgow, Scotland.

Spent a bit of time in Montreal over the last few years & have grew into a bit of a diehard fan after spending plenty of time watching Hockey in the bars in the city & elsewhere in Canada, also had the pleasure of actually getting to a game at the Bell Centre last year.

Maybe a few of you remember me and the poems I used to write, I am sure Kinot does,I couldn't get on this site very much because we couldn't afford a new computer, and the old one just would not let me log in to anything, but we have a new computer and so I am back, still as mad about the HABS as before, and I am going to the game in Vancouver tomorrow,I still can't believe it,I will actually see the boys live.

I have still been reading the site nearly everyday, when I haven't been able to log on. It's nice to see all the UK fans joining, although I live now in Canada I am from the UK.

GREAT TO BE BACK LOVE YOU ALL

GO HABS GO :lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:

I figured I should officially introduce myself since I have read this forum every day for six years and I am familiar with everybody here, but most of you don’t know me at all. In my personal life, most of my friends know me as my nickname “Veenie”, hence where I got my username. I’m 26 years old and I have been a member of the forum since 2009. I used to post pretty regularly in the GDTs but I haven’t for quite a while because I work afternoons and evenings during the week. I have to record every game instead of watching them live, although I am going to try to be at the GDTs on weekends when I can from now on. I also moved out into the country where it was difficult, until recently, to get a decent internet connection. Despite this, I have visited the forum frequently on my breaks at work.

I must say that I have gained the vast majority of my understanding of hockey from reading all of your posts. I am humbled by how knowledgeable everyone here is and I think we are all fortunate to have a place to come to have intelligent discussions about our team that is free from the abuse and personal attacks that plague most of the other team forums I have scrolled through. I really look forward to posting more often than I have in the past and to reading everyone’s thoughts on various matters.

You are officially welcomed  . I look forward to reading your posts as well and getting into debates over differing opinions, after all, that is what makes this place so great.
