Guest Lafleurs Guy
He's had a pretty good rookie season and proven me wrong. I really didn't think he was ready for the big leagues this year. Chapeau Guy... chapeau.

roy_133
I said I'd be happy with 15 goals out of him this season, and he will finish around there, so I'm satisfied with his performance as a teenager. With that being said there are several things that need to be worked on before he can even think about being an elite player in this league. timtomtimmy34
Meh elite.. Your thinking of way to far down the line, As of right now he is doing what we need from him, IF your thinking of him becoming a elite player your probably thinking 5-8 years down the line

He won't just wake up one day and be "elite", he will have to work hard, being a pro this season I imagine has really gave him a good idea of what needs to be done for him to succeed. So yes, I maybe thinking down the road interms of the results, but I'm thinking about him taking the steps needed to get to that level this offseason. timtomtimmy34
lol i just saw the reply on ctv play of the day So they showed it like 5x from different angles When he did that drag move he was looking directly down at the puck, and then when he finished he was still looking directly down at the puck, and then when he finally shot he was still looking down I dont know if that makes it a better or worse goal, but he didnt look up once after the start of the move till when he scored

Guest twist_and_shout
The toe drag was sexy. He played great today. I hastled him a wee bit when he was slumping but now he's making me eat my words (although I never said I thought he was a bad player and wouldn't be good, just he wasn't playing good). The goal was nice and the puck control he showed throughout the game was pretty dandy. He's really starting to take off.

hockey_gal89
I don't know if anyone noticed but Latendresse did a lot of things right last night. When he wasn't scoring the team's only goal, he was causing Boston's defence fits creating scoring chances. At one point he had Tim Thomas completely turned around and almost scored again. I am liking the Lats/Lap/Kovy line. My favorite line as well....so much energy (although I do miss Laps playing with Begin). The Bell Centre was so loud last night after he scored but before the screaming died down, I knew they were chanting Gui, Gui, Gui and they were! Nice to hear!!! jigger-1
Great job Thunder! Way to silence those critics! This kid is a powerhouse. Could turn out to be one of Gainey's best moves ever to trade picks and get him in the second round.
