Guest habsFREAK27
W-O-W what a game for Mike Komisarek, He was hitting every single guy. That's how you have toplay against the Flames, they play rough, you play rough. I loved how Komisarek messed with Iginla and pulling him in the Penality box with him. GOODGOOD job komisarex! tommyv
Absolutely proving his 1st round selection a genius move if he continues this progression, he is turning into a mini Phaneuf, hes brutal, punishing, intense, and much more confident in himself. Behind Dandenault i rank him our 2nd best defencemen so far.
Guest sajc
Here good article on Mike Komisarek. http://www.cyberpresse.ca/article/20061021...S01/610210772/

Guest Gabe3
After the first period vs. the Avs, we didn't hear his name that much... This wasn't his best game. Latendresse probably end up getting more checks than he did.
crognalsen
He is a defensive defenseman so it's usually good when you don't hear his name. That means no one is making him look bad defensivly. I think Komi and Markov are the best defensive pairing by far at even streangth.
Guest Hoser
Well, not the greatest game Komi ever played, but, aside from that one fox up on the PK, he played a pretty solid game. He really has to work on getting shots through, though, he seems like he's always getting blocked. I'd like to see his slapper, maybe he'd scare the blockers out of the way. GIJAYNE
I was watching Sport 30, and they were interviewing Mike. When asked about his hits on Tucker he said “say what you will but there is a rivalry there. The game is intense and the game has picked up. There’s no sweeter team to beat than the Leafs” He was giving this answer with this sly smile the whole time. I love it! I think the locker room is in good spirits. tmash
This guy is great. He was a "project" for a long time, having to learn WHEN to hit and how to play defense up to NHL standards. He looked good last season and now he has been great and you can always see his prescence on the ice.

Guest Gabe3
is he hurt???,,,,,whats the deal He went to the locker room near the end of the 3rd when he got checked in the boards behind Aebischer. I don't think it's too serious, we'll find out later on tonight.

He has a cannon of a shot. If most of his shots made it too the net, I think he could score 5-10 goals this season.

If he was really bad I would guess they would have called up someone for thursday night
Guest HabSteve
I guess it makes him kind of "day to day" and he'll play depending of how he feels tomorrow, the good news coming from this is that the injury is not serious and he won't have to miss a couple of weeks

I love how these NY boys are becoming our killers. you said it, I could very well see him or Higgins be our next captain and the other one his assistant, i've been looking for a while to get my Komi habs jersey and it should be coming soon. I hope Gainey locks both of them to long-term contract
