Guest leafsreallysuck
Komi will have a huge game tonight, just cause he's playin in his hometown. He will be punishing Satan and Blake all night long. Yes, too bad Chris isn't playing.

Habsin2006
Will be in the near future the Canadiens #1 defense man... He's got the size and physical presence... Stepping it up this year with some more offense... Doesn't make many mistakes in our defensive zone...

But yes it will be a battle between those two, in the future.

The Habs version of Pronger and Niedermeyer, although I don't believe either are offensively gifted. They will however put the fear of god into anyone daring to cross the blueline !!!! Habsin2006
Komisarek is picking up his offensive game but the best part of it is that he is smart and doesn't get caught pinching in...
CaptainCouragous21
I love watchin this kid play! U can always count on one bone crunching hit a game...Whenever I see an opposing left wing flying down the boards I jump to the edge of my seat bc I know Mikey is gonna smash him
Guest Handlanger
Komisarek is picking up his offensive game but the best part of it is that he is smart and doesn't get caught pinching in... I really don't care about his offense... we have Markov, Souray, Streit, even Dandy for that. Komisarek is rock solid in defense, I'm a absolutely happy with his play there... no need to do more offense.
Guest habfansham
Found a video on youtube about Komisarek. His father and sister are the ones interviewed. Really good. I agree, it was nice. I also agree with his sister about being a mature guy, he may only be 24, but he's got the head of a 34 year old on his shoulders. I really admire the way he's bounced back from his personal problems from last year and hasn't been feeling sorry for himself.
Guest Hoser
Some big hits last night for Komi, even if he ended the night a -2 he did a great job shutting down Crosby and Co along the boards.
Guest habs_fan1160
I think last night was a weaker game for Komi, I"m not saying he sucked last night but he didn't seem to be his usual self. Looked like he was a little shakey playing out there. It was an alright game but not the best I"ve seen from him. Maybe the intimidation of the Crosby/Malkin etc scoring power got to him. Guest habs_fan1160
He helped hold Crosby to 1 point, not to weak imo I didn't say weak, I said weaker than he normally is. He still had an alright game but he just didn't seem as confident out there as he does most nights.

Guest HabSteve
there's a nice article on NHL.com about hitting in the NHL, with a pretty nice quote about Komisarek coming from Mike Fischer of the ottawa senators: "There are guys like Zdeno Chara and Anton Volchenkov that step up and just kills guys," says Ottawa centre Mike Fisher. "You've always got to watch out when those guys are on the ice. It's the same with Mike Komisarek in Montreal. He's got me a couple of times. He plays hard and is a good hitter. Mike is a big defenseman and is only 24 (years old), so I'm sure he's only going to get better." looks like our big #8 is starting to make a name around the league

I agree Komi is rock solid in defence, but he also has a very nice shot from the point. I could see him scoring around 40 points per season in 5 years from now. gosouray44
Well, it's true...I'm a jinx...I didn't mention A THING about Komi scoring, like I have every other game, and he actually scores!! Way to go Komi, you were way overdue!!
Guest cheerio279
With all the negatives surrounding last night's game, I just want give some credit to Komi. He's truly having a career season. With all the ice time he's getting, I'm really impressed with him. Not only has he been a force back on the blueline, but he's setting new highs offensively, too. So, Go Komi!! Keep hitting hard, especially those pesky leafs
Guest shanahan1024
Hes by far our number 3 defenceman we need to lock him up long term. And with D-Men like Rivet and Niinmaa making over 2 million this means Komisarek is a 3 million dollar player. Hes miles ahead of those two.
