LavaDerek
Saku Koivu sealed the win for the Habs tonight! He is clearly a great team leader, and proved it as the team struggled in the first 2 periods!

CaptainCouragous21
O Captain My Captain!!... Snipes a shorty and on the empty netter he beats the defender to the puck, takes an angle on him, and when the defender tried to knock him down, he just stood him up and slammed it in the net... FinnStar
Hi guys I just saw interview of Saku in finnish newspaper. There he said, that after his career he may work for Habs or in TPS organisation in Finland BUT.... he wants to start as stay-home-dad first He also said, that his career can continue 4-6 years. And ofcourse we hope that it will, right? Have a nice weekend

Guest SpecialK
I finally noticed the coach put Kovy with Koivu. Who was the other winger? I forgot? Ryder? Did Lantandress go to Line 2? Brain freeze here.

Brain freeze here. During the game, Latendresse went on the 2nd line, yes !!! And the other winger in the first was Ryder, as usual !!

Guest habs_fan1160
It'd be nice if he'd stay with the Habs organization after retirement, however, TPS Turku is his home and I wouldn't blame him if he wanted to go back home. But hearing that we still have 4-6 years of Koivu left makes me breathe a little eaiser. Too bad it wasn't 10-15 yrs, but what can you do. Awesome individual effort by him last night, another two goal night for the Captain and on his 600th game - I believe sometime in the very near future he will turn the trick, getting the Habs their first of the season. Guest voicemajor2000
Koivu is playing like a man possessed! Is it just me, or there no one else in the league who is a clutch a performer as him right now? He always seems to be scoring the tying and go-ahead goals for us! Keep going Saku, and if it IS a possession, hold off on the exorcism until after we have the stanley cup!

Though he hasn't scored the most goals or has the most points he's defintley clutch for our team. If it wasn't for him last night we wouldn't have won that game. Awesome effort as of late by Captain K.
Guest keithman
Koivu's goals come when we really need them. and he's averaging a point per game....and just having him on the ice is dangerous to the other team GO KOIVU
Guest RaphX
Wow! Tied for 25th among all players in the league for points. Tied for 11th among all centers in the league for points. Who ever said Montreal did not have a legitimate 1st line center is out of his mind! Plus Saku brings so much more in term of leadership, determination and intensity!! Gotta love Kaptain Kourageous!
