fourtrax
Ha, any bets on when TSN will update their ridiculous scouting report on Higgins? He's still listed as a career two-way player who needs to play more consistently in the 'big leagues'.

Guest KOIVU#11
wow that TSN report is a perfect example of why I never watch the channel. Higgins and Latendresse are going to be the future of this hockey team. I loved this guy ever since his short-handed goal against the sharks last season, in bob's first game behind the bench. I can see him as a future captain.
HABS-21
Higgins!!he is a very good player and since the beginning of the season he has in average 1 point bye game:lol: He is my favourite player in this team and I agree with Koivu 11 that he would be a good captain. tmash
I think Higgins is going to be a superstar at one point in his career He doesn't have the pure skill to be a superstar. He should hopefully be a first line player, possibly even invited to the all star game, but I don't see him eveyr putting up enough points to be considered a "superstar". Think of him as a more physical Lehtinen. Lehtinen may never win the Hart, but he is a very valuable two way player, which is what I see Higgins becoming. Guest Captain Koivu#11
He is a big part of the reason Montreal has the #1 PK unit right now, with his league leading 2 shorthanded goals. He is progressing nicely in my eyes.
TKEat1692
higgs is the man, i was a diehard whalers fan my entire life and sorry the hurricanes arent the whale, went to highschool with higgs and watched him there and then when he was at yale, he was much smaller then but sooo much better than anyone else on the ice, they might not be the whalers but they are as close as im gonna get to a hometeam, plus living in philly now i get to go to some games

75danis
Higgs played another good game last night. He is flying to the puck right now. Making good decisions & taking quality shots. He should of had 2 last night if not for the "Bulin Wall".
Guest Nutrasweetdaddy
I'm not shy to say "I told you so", so it's only fair that I also admit when I'm wrong (for the time being). I said that it was unreasonable to assume that Higgins would score at the same pace he did last year. So far he has, so good for Chris. I hope he keeps it up. But I will fully admit I also figured last year was a complete fluke and he would have maybe a goal by now. But now seeing the way he plays, I really believe he's going to be a great two way winger and should easily get 50-60 points playing with Koivu. madbox21
And people talk about breaking them up to fix our 2nd line problems. The 1st line in general shouldn't even garner THOUGHTS of getting changed. At all, and certainly not now. People are silly.

lindros_jr
Sheldon might be Higgy's biggest fan. Higgins is the only guy I know that will go infront of a "Souray Bomb". Not even players from the other team want to get in its way.

Guest gumper
he scored a garbage goal last night and hogged the puck. IMO he wasnt playing very good. and for that gretzky thing, he is no match for crosby or ovechkin who arent even as good as gretzky, so ther is no way he is the next gretzky. maybe the next koivu, at the most, but not gretzky.
