Guest Just Jen
After hearing that he was stopping more shots then Aebi last night, I'm very excited for regular season to get up and running and to see him bring it all over again. Guest Musketball
Begin is awesome. He's a very good player While I think he's not THAT good, he IS fearless and always in the right place at the right time. He's a grinder extraordinaire. A really fun player to watch he truly is the energizer bunny of the team. He's like a flipped out claude lemieux without the theatrics.

gohabs89
Guys like Begin are really easy to like and respect. He gives it all he has every single night and is willing to take a puck to the face for the team. A character player on the ice and a class act off of it. I'm glad he's on our side! Guest newton
Very good article about Begin. He's had a very interesting carreer. Second that, brilliant article! Thanks for sharing. Now I respect Steve even more. Is there anyone tougher than him in the league?
Guest BadBrains
He reminds me of Craig Conroy. It's funny how we drafted Conroy and Calgary drafted Begin. Conroy ended up in Calgary. (Now L.A.) And Begin ended up here. Good for us.

hockey_gal89
Wow! Very interesting stuff. Thanks for the link. There's not many players left with that old school work ethic. And I'd have to agree with both your nick name and sig.

flames4eva
Stevey "Bang-Bang" Begin is my favorite Hab. He's a good example of why it isn't always such a bad thing to pick up someone on waivers... The fourth line has not been great yet this season nor really bad... but soon they will start to gel better and be a wrecking force that will have great impact in Habs victories... So I say: Stevey, let the "Bang-Bang" Begin with you soon, so it will wear off on Murray and Lats. bw6
Guest habgab
Begin is a player that I really like - you have to admire someone who goes to play every single game. As I have said before, I would rather have a team of Begin's than a team of amazing stickhandlers who show up to work only when it suits them. Begin is always there, ready to do whatever is asked of him and, in my opinion, earns every bit of his paycheque and more.

Guest f30marco
why cant begin play with some better players? he can score and he brings it every game but seriously murray-downey- and no offence but latendresse? this line has no play maker or any creative guy what so ever! roy_133
We need to get Begin back on the wing, he does his best work when he's in deep forchecking and taking the body, as a center he has to be more responsible and lay back more and worry about positioning... Kovalev played center for a while tonight and if Guy thinks that could actually work on a long term basis... We could move Pleks down to the 4th line and get Begin back with Bonk, which worked so well last season, that would be great IMO... Higgins Koivu Ryder Samsonov Kovalev Perezhogin Begin Bonk Johnson Latendresse Plekanec Murray Thoughts?
