Dice-R-Loaded
What exactly makes him a franchise player? He has the skill to be one, but he doesn't put up enough points or have anything else about his game to make him a franchise player. Just so I might understand your view, how many points does one have to score to be a franchise player? And what else is required in a player's game to be a franchise player? Cheers. Dice-R-Loaded
This would be a whole different topic in itself! Mr. Moderator, with all due respect, that's not fair. You know I had him, and some others, lined up with their heads down. Betrayed!!! My young team mates have been pushed around for 2 days, you could have let me get one shot in on their behalf. And as for my good friend, Mr. Kovalev- do I have to sit back and let these no names - Coosbry, overthink, and gawd, cry baby Jagr-even be mentioned on the Russian Magician's thread?? Come on, JL, Kovalev's WORLD CLASS- Kovy fans can't let these "absurd" criticisms go unchallenged. PEACE

I am so sad I wasnèt there tonight, Ièd be so proud to stand up and clap my hands with my Kovalev jersey. Guest Manorrd
Does anyone know why Kovy isn't wearing the "A" anymore? (At least he wasn't on the last preseason game).
Guest HabsFanInPitt27
I'm sure he will when the season starts next week. I wouldn't worry about it.

Guest js2
1. You might edit your first post to include this link, first posted by Pitt27, to illustrate to Hab Fans the proper way by which to get Kovy to score 100 points and 50 goals: "THIS IS HOW WE DO IT" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qHPWTuhO_SI Now Kovalev has that guy to feed him perfect passes to reach those 50 goals. If you look at canadiens.com in the picture gallery under special events -> hockeyville. You'll notice on picture 19 Dandenault is now sporting the "A." You'll notice on picture 19 Dandenault is now sporting the "A." tonight it was Rivet and Sourray. It is one of 2 things.. 1. Its preseason and they are just swapping it around with players in and out of the line up, and none of it really matters because they will go back to the old way once the season starts. 2. Koivu is the captin ans the will routate the 2 A amongst a few players all year long.

I've been here since day one on this forum and was here when the trade occured and obviously when we signed him as a UFA. Come on Dice, you know what I'm talking about! Where's you thread? I'm looking forward to put my two bits into it and it would help keep this one on topic!

Dice-R-Loaded
heeesssss alive. kovalev is allliveeeeeee!!!! That's right! He's alive, kicking butt and taking down names!!!. And he's just cruising now, wait til he decides to go into KOVY "warp drive"- or Lord forbid-KOVY "Light Speed". ******************* KOVY could score 50 goals... He WOULD score 50, if they rolled 3 lines, and placed him on PP point- which Habs won't. As for the "A", Kovy never liked wearing an A- I just hope it isn't a carryover, 1 way or another, from the reported disagreement with Coach Gainey during last year's playoffs. HF27- DOUBLE HIGH FIVES TO YOU --AND THERE ARE MANY MORE TO COME, NO DOUBT! PITT 27- TOLD YOU KOVY WOULDN'T LET YOU DOWN. HEY ALL YOU CRITICS, I FEEL LIKE SINGING: WHERE ARE ALL THE CRITICS, WHERE ARE ALL THE CRITICS???? here we are....here we are! On a jet with Ribero, Going down to Dallas, nothing to say....going away! Cheers.
