Guest Captain Koivu#11
i said it before, why do we not have him in the shootout. His hands are amazing. That goal last night says it all And it's not the first time that he's scored short handed goals like that for us! I've seen him do stuff like that last season too. Actually, Plekanec was my fave player early last season untill Higgins came in the spotlight, and showed us what he can do.

Guest ~Shaan~
It was a good game for him, came through with a great PK and short-handed goal. I think he is too predictable in the shootout, so far hasn't proved to handle pressure well. If he has a good night or catches fire let him have a go on the Shootouts, other than that others are more qualified and consistent.
madbox21
If we can try Streit in the shootout, then we can try Plekanec. He's good with his backhand and actually getting the puck over the goalies pad.
Guest Bighab
I think the Kovalev experiment as the #2 centre is over for now. I want to see Tomas back on the #2 line.

I want to see Tomas back on the #2 line. dont see that happening anytime soon.on that line pleks would rush with the puck and he seemed nervous ...always hurrying to give the puck to the wingers not showing what he can truly do

I like Pleks being the defensive conscience for Kovy and Samsonov
Guest TORHABSFAN
Well we'll see if Carbo shakes up the lines for the Ottawa game. I like Pleks being the defensive conscience for Kovy and Samsonov me too but the line didn't fly with him eiter.. Maybe jsut maybe its time to really mix it up. How about.. Ryder Koivu Kovalev Samsonov Pleks Samsonov maybe we are better of with Samsonov and Kovalev on diffrent lines while they bothe stay on the top 2. just a thought

roy_133
Very impressed with how Tomas has played tonight in all 3 zones, created some chances, made some nice plays in his own end... This is a lot like the Tomas I fell inlove with during the playoffs last season... Good to see.
tmash
He has been very good sicne he was taken off the second line. He's a good player, but just wasn't ready. Looks so much more comfortable in a defensive / secondary offensive role
mtl_-----gt--Jeff--lt-----_mtlc
This guy played amazing tonight and he did it on the 4th line with murry and begin. he showed a lot of intensity and hustle with great play in all zones. he was the workhorse for his line tonight, he played like this in the playoffs last season. what a great game tonight, awesome team effort, GO HABS GO!!! tmash
Agreed, the guy was playing good lately, why the demotion?!! if he keeps playing on the second line he'll be booed out of town. He plays very well as a third/fourth line defensive specialist, but just isn't ready for an offensive role.
100proofevil
poor guy. The jack-of-all-trades gets thrown from line to line . I like that, thats a very good way to describe him, he really does do and have everything, PP, PK, hands, passing, speed, a turtleneck and a goatee! too bad hes just not as big as id wish he was. but im glad hes been given the 2nd line shot back, he left the 2nd line with 0 goals, comes back from the 4th line with 2 goals, i feel good about this decision. The moment there's a draft, he falls down.
