jigger-1
I'm not sure why, but it seems like Plekanec has a tough time staying on his feet. There were a few times where he fell untouched, like he couldn't control his speed or something tonight. I'm not sure if it's just a bad edge on his skates, but there were a few times where he could have had a great chance if he was able to stay upright. That might explain the two penalties he has for diving.
Guest habs4life!
Ah you could feel that one of those days Plekanec is going to start potting goals left and right. There comes a stage in every player's game, some earlier then others, where you just open up and loosen your stick so to speak. You could see how hard he is working out there. Dont worry.. it'll come. Reminds me a little of Chris Higgins before he blossommed in February of last season.

crognalsen
Pleks had two pretty good games in a row. If you expect him to turn into a scoring jugeault over night I think you will probably be disapointed, but I also think hes good enough for the second line. Hes been given a lot less patience then Lats so far and hes playing a position that is much more difficult in which he is expected to produce. Guest swansee
Pleks will be a star for the Habs before this season is out......he already contributes far more than people give him credit for......he is the real deal and he can do it all and has the attitude and work ethic......I think Higgins and Ryder are fantastic but this guy is even better!!!! That's my prediction!

Patate
Whow emotions are stronger than logic And what would be considered logic in Plekanec's case ?
Guest habs_fan1160
Good game by Pleck's last night, his late period goal really fired the team up (briefly). That was a sweet goal too, best one on the night.
Guest swansee
Whow emotions are stronger than logic I've watched him game in and game out since 2002..in the AHL and the NHL...my statement has little to do with emotion....it is fact......you'll see soon enough. OneSharpMarble
Given the right linemates he would be a leading scorer of ours.

roy_133
lol maybe our leader at missing open nets... Yeah, lol, tied with Kovalev and Samsonov for blown scoring chances.
Guest Captain Koivu#11
Heard him on the radio this morning and essentially what he said was"I have to stop trying to feed the puck to Sammy and Kovy at all costs. If there is a play that I think would be better if I drive the net I will. I was intimidated playing with those two at the begining of the year because my confidence wasn't there. Not I know my confidence is back. Kovy is always very tightly checked by the other team so I need to know when to hold on to the puck" Sounds to me like he learning and improving. This is good news. I kinda agree with you. When I went to a Bolldogs game a couple years ago, Pleks was the best player on the ice. Thats what I remember most about that game. Guest Miltie01
This guy just has some growing to do. He is tremendously skilled, it's just the line doesn't seem to work. Pleks will be a good NHLer.
Guest swansee
Agree with all you guys plus I can add....he is a very serious, disciplined and dedicated kind of person/player.......check out his old website sometime and you'll get a sense of what he's like.......just make sure you pick the (US) English translation not the Czech one!!!!! (unless you speak Czech of course!
Guest sportsfreak_39
There is something wrong with Pleks he has the heart, the speed, the skill, the grit eveythign youd ant from him. Just when he gets a chance he ahhhhhhh just cant finish. Hes lacking that natural scoring ability youd want.

Guest JL
I feel bad for Plekanec as he seems to be the only one showing some hussle out there on his line... and he's being paid the least!
Codegate
I think they should take him off the line before he suffers permanent lack of confidence disorder. Who are they going to put on the second line then? I think he played hard even though he missed the two scoring chances

I think he played hard even though he missed the two scoring chances You mistake my intention. It's a promotion for him to be moved at this point I think. You could move Begin up to play on the second line. I'm sure he would have some things to say to Kovy and Sammy in the lockeroom. Besides no one expects Begin to score so he is good and since the second line is producing little more then the fourth Begin should be right at home. Guest Dham
Beautiful pass by Latendresse to Plekanac open in front to oooooh miss the open side. Kovalev to Plekenac, Lats to Plekanac...Doesn't matter who sets him up 'cause he's bringing back my old nightmare's of Zednik all over again. --looks like Gretzky one night, couldn't hit the broadside of a barn door for the next 20.
