Such an amazing player!!

He scored so many beautiful goals and is so solid defensively its scary.

To think this is the same player who used to take so many bad hooking penalties at the most inopportune times last year and was benched under Claude Julien!

He's come a long way!

I guess the analyses by the media are giving right to Alex: he's taking almost the same slow-at-the-start but yet surely improving path as Maxim Afinogenov did in Buffalo.

I can only imagine what he'll look like in a few years by being so good in both ends of the ice.:D

If this guy can just improve his aim he could be a very good offensive player. He has the speed, skill and shot to put up a lot of points, just needs to hit the net more. Also cool to see Perez leading +/- (or at least he was a couple games ago, not sure about now)

Too bad we couldn't mix Perez and Kovy, in Kovy's body, while keeping Perezhogin. Kovy has all the talent in the world, but a small work ethic. Perezhogin has all the talent in the world, but hasn't tapped into it yet, but he's got a work ethic like no other Russian I've seen before.

That's not a dig on Russians, but a lot of them are the type that score you thousands of goals. But Perezhogin is turning into a complete player.

Agreed, most russians are offensive studs (Afinogenov, Kovalchuk, Malkin, Ovechkin) while Perezhogin is really developping as a great two way forward...

and the kid work his a** off every shift, he deserve every bit of succes he's having right now

Thats what happens when u surround a talented kid with defensive minded coaches like BG last year, Carbo, Jarvis, Muller

Not to mention playing with a couple of defensive minded players. Sasha is turning into one of our star players, he's exciting to watch.

How long until we re-name that 3rd line Zhogin's Heroes?

I Love it!! Let's start using it. The whole line is solid, probably one of the best 3rd lines in the game.

The way he's going right now, he deserves to be playing with Koivu.

He was pretty good last year, but man what an improvment this year, i haven't seena  Russian dig in the corners like that in ages :D

what a player this kid is turning out to be.i expect bigger things from him in the future. but maybe i shouldnt.hope this isnt a ''flash in the pan'' hes been consistent through the season for a 3rd liner
