jigger-1
I noticed a defensive play he made to stop Heatley on a semi 2 on 1 nearing the end of the game there. No wonder he's in the + category. Really great effort there getting back and breaking up the play.

Guest The_Hockey_Specialist
Three goals for the so-called 'third line' tonight. Great job, boys! Hoser, you're absolutely right. The kid never stops skating and has the work ethic to complement his skills. Playing with Bonk and Johnson is only going to help him; these two can click with just about any winger, seemingly. I agree. Perez makes a great fit on the third line and they seem to be gelling well. It just seemed that he was intimidated playing with Kovalev and Samsonov IMHO. He played a great game and his work ethic is appreciated. From what I've been seeing from the coaching staff it seems they appreciate it as well. (When Muller was asking him for two and they laughed) Someone needs to ask him about his great defensive work. Did his English get any better? He must be listening to someone, he's pulling new moves every game!
Hackett
I watched yesterdays game - sometimes it looked like he would loose the puck but then he would get it back and then he would loose it and get it back - at one time he had 4 Sens on him and he still kept the puck and took a shot. Hes great with Bonk and Johnson - 3rd line should stay as is!!!

franck5890
Alright, we've all seen and heard about the incident a billion times. But it happened OVER THREE YEARS AGO. He's served his punishment, he's trying to forget and move on, and so are a majority of fans. Out of respect for the player, the organization, and for the sheer fact that the incident has no relevance in any modern discussion, I don't think we need to see that video posted on these boards again. As I said, it's been over three years, he's served a suspension, and both players have moved on. If other moderators disagree, please let me know, but I don't think we need to tolerate this on the board anymore, as it's quite disrespectful to a player trying to move on with his career after atoning for his mistake. Guest old-time Habs fan
Perezhogin clinched the win that thrashed Atlanta good; never mind atone for sin, we're hardly in the mood.
Guest Hoser
What a game for Sasha tonight, he was EVERYWHERE, buzzing around the net, flying in the neutral zone, and making some nice plays defensivly. And wow, what speed on that goal, just tears right between the defenders and beats the goaltender, great goal. And wow, he's a +11 on the season, that's incredible! koivu-fan802
Very nice goal just when it looked we woudn't get anything more behing Hedburg. I was hoping he would get a goal tonight. He deserved it the way he's been playing.
Kindred
Beautiful goal tonight, he just came out of nowhere and burried it  one thing that stood out ot me was in the 2nd period Dandenault took the puck deep into the Thrashers zone and they picked it up, started out of their zone and who was back on defense covering for Dandy? Perezhogin. I like seeing him playing in different situations. He gives the 3rd line that added boost that makes it veyr dangerous
Guest The_Hockey_Specialist
Perezhogin had a great defensive game and more often than not he was a gnat in Kovalchuk's face all night long. I'm happy happy to see him score another goal, he's certainly got the talent to have more than the 2 that he has now. What I like about him is his hustle and he simply outworks bigger player even when he's in bad positioning. He's been the hardest player to take the puck away from and more often than not his turnovers are few and far between. His +/- is astounding and yet again I ask, who trained him in the off-season? Awesomesauce!

Guest Hoser
I remember that when Jagr played with Sasha in Russia, he called him the fastest player he'd ever played with... and he really showed what Jagr was talking about on that goal. Andy Sutton still doesn't know what happened, lol, one second it was on his stick, the next Perezhogin was putting the puck over Hedberg with an unbelievable one-handed chip-shot. mtl_-----gt--Jeff--lt-----_mtlc
I honestly love what im seeing from this guy this year. he's showing more and more intensity, hustle, speed and is adding more to our defensive game. this guy should be on the first line. did you see the way he played with kovalev and samsonov. and last season in the playoffs, he really showed us what he's capable of. this is still the beginning of perezhogin, and i see a great future for this guy, he reminds me of afinogenov. great game tonight, and most of all, great team effort, i wish they would play like this everynight. GO HABS GO!!!

I'd say maybe he's the second fastest on the team Sammy is faster if we go by stickhandling/speed ratio.. but on simply speed I think Perez is the fastest. Bouillon is a speedster too.
