Guest SuperHabsFan
I don't think it's just Downey fault. The whole line of murray, begin and downey have been struggling this year. By the way, I got my 500 posts!!!!

Guest js2
Anyone know what Downey did to get the misconduct? Trying to start something with Tucker after that Bouillon incident and mouthing him off because Tucker wouldn't do anything. That was perfectly fine with me because he was sticking up for his team and it didn't leave us a man down.
habs-24
Downey played very well imo up to when he got the misconduct, hitting, shooting from everywhere really like the guy. as for the misconduct it seems you cant talk to the leafs or touch them and you get 950 minutes in the box. Guest shanahan1024
Downey is funny to watch cause hes such a plug, but he does stick up for teamates. But with his complete lack of skill, and his fighting skills arnt great either theres no way he should be in the lineup on a nightly basis. We shoulda kept Ivanans whos a real heavyweight and will fight anyone, hes gone with Laraque, Parros and alot of other big boys not Jason Smith lol. Guest stevesaku
well we might not appreciate him but we arent in the locker room so only the players themselves can tell you that and from what i read downey is liked by everyone in the room and i think its more than his humor
Guest habs_fan1160
I think Downey was solid on Sat night, one of the few players I didn't find myself scream cursing at. He added some strength which kept useless bullies like Tucker from running the ice too much. Good to see him take a shot, plus he had a couple good chances for an assist Sat night too. Probably one of the best I've seen him play in this season.

I bet it wasn't that serious, maybe a bit of shoving and pushing and some words but that's all.

koh19
yeah and I'm not saying this is good for the team or anything but sometimes you need something like this to happen to spark the team up.... Thoughts?

Guest stevesaku
... Or make you laughing, this is always good to laugh! good for the health... well another talkbaxk has been posted and it actually makes sense..it was a positive post stating that the fight will blow over by tomorow its the just a result of the frustration from yesterdays game
Guest habs_fan1160
It won't. It's just a normal incident when guys are pushing themselves... I agree, this happens a lot in the league between teammates, they're together how often - people fight with their best friends and relatives. The only difference is when it happens in MTL everyone hears about it because the media there is like "Ohh gossip, must blow it out of proportion" But it does happen a lot in hockey practices. No offense, but in the RDS talkback, most of the poster are below 15 years old.. I don't really read those talkback because it became so pathetic and it's nothing more than some cat fight between posters.
