Guest f30marco
i think to blame markov for the bad game is wrong because the whole team played miserable after the first goal!

Guest StratfordStreak
i think to blame markov for the bad game is wrong because the whole team played miserable after the first goal! I think Markov played pretty bad, but none of the defence got any of their shots through from the point. This was true of Markov, Rivet, Streit and Souray. I think for the most part it was Buffalo playing an excellent game against the weaknesses of our offence.

tmash
Markov seems to be doing some good stuff in the offensive zone, but he's started making way more boneheaded decisions than we're used to seeing.
Guest habsfan#08
Honestly Markov.....why dont you check anymore......he has to stop with pokecheck stuff and take the body. Hes made some BAD defensive choices this season.
CaptainCouragous21
Yah he was -3 last night but thats deceiving considering that first goal was a garbage goal that any other goalie in net at that time would have stopped...And the last goal was an empty netter...And then u have that Short Hander...So in fairness he deserved a -1 and not -3 but we all know thats not how it works

He still played a great game. He was all over the ice. Dispite his error which gave the puck away and gave the Sabres a goal, I was still happy with the way he played. Mistakes like that happen all the time.

Well, I'm fed up of people that negitively comment players like Markov, Bonk and Kovalev when there's players that really aren't doing well on the team that we're not paying attention to. I was not only quoting your message, I was also replying to habsfan#08. So basicly, I wasn't jumping on you. I was simply posting my opinion. You may like it, you may not. When u quote someone then go on a rant it looks like ur attacking their opinion or refuting it!...So once again dont attack me when I was DEFENDING him. If u wanted to jump on Habsfan then u shouldhave quoted him and not me.

I agree. Maybe I am just very biased because Markov is my favourite player, but it seems that people criticize him very easily. Yes, he has made some pretty bad plays so far this season (ie against Havlat in Chigago), but he has also made some really good ones. Besides, he still has a good offensive production (seven points in eight games, same as Niklas Lidstrom). I'm not saying that he does not have to improve some aspects of his play, it's just that some of the negative comments I hear or read about him are a bit harsh, especially when these are about things as trivial as "not smiling enough". Guest cup crazy88
yeah i was gonna before but i didnt notice the seperate players forum, lol but now that i am here, Markov stepped it up tonight. Not only by scoring the winning goal, but for his solid play throughout the game... I saw tonight glimpses of Markov from last yr...
Guest Gabe3
I loved his goal tonight. He took his time, even though he knew the clock was winding down and he took the shot with only 1.2 seconds left and scored

Guest Un_Lavalois
Markov scored a real mean goal tonight with only 1.2 seconds left, he literally killed all the Bruins chance for a come back, got to love that!

tommyv
he had one really off game that i can count, the rest have been ordinary, but the game in boston might be the turn of the corner, i cant say he's off to a bad start because he is still playing fine, just not as high as we expected due to his breakout performance last season.
