I remeber when we used to draft skilled french canadiens. And let them play to there skill level not clone them into a checking defensive player.

My favorite hab was JC Trembley, I was ten when Guy Lafleur was drafted.

My Grandfather was just a kid then... does that help? I saw the Blackhawks win the cup in 61... or was it 62 and the Leafs in 67.

I'd say 50-55 years old.

I almost forgot to mention myself.

I'm 18 and will be legal drinking age in October. Key word being "legal". Needless to say I had some whiskey when Toronto beat Montreal in the last game...

Isn't it awesome how despite our differences in age and locations, that we all show up in one place every habs game? Oh, unless it's on the CBC, then I'm watching it and posting afterwards. Still, I'd say I've grown up a bit now. I used to get pretty ticked off during the second half of the season whenever Montreal lost. I think I've become more accepting of things since then. Can't wait for the new season to start though!

25 years old.

I grew up watching and pretending to be Guy during road hockey games. Man those were the days.

I have never liked any other team as i do the Habs. I have never seen a game in Montreal (i'm 20 mins north of Toronto in an area of 250,000 Italians :D), but this year I will be coming with my cousin (who is also a habs fan, he's 36) and a bunch of Leaf fans (my friends).

I was in Montreal on Victoria day and i went to go see the Forum...I was very disappointed at the look of it. 90+ years of history and corporations completely defacing its beauty, its history. I was really shocked and disappointed. I know its an old building and there's limited space, but turn it into a museem or something. Move the Hockey Hall of Fame from Toronto (where it doesn't belong) and move it to the Forum.

Anyways, I hope to see many of you before christmas as I will try to go watch a game or 2 in the great city of Montreal (you guys really have a much more beautiful city then Toronto, its so "European" in design and culture (i am Italian).

/me thumbs up the city of Montreal.

Man, when I was 12 I went to Montreal and my parents wouldnt even to the Bell Center (then Molson Center), let alone the forum. That's because my stepdad likes the Leafs and doens't like me. Personally, I think that to do that to a 12 year old boy who lived a breathed Montreal Canadiens and to this day has only been there once is a pretty cruel thing to do. Oh well, I'm definately gonna see a Leafs/Habs game this year. It will be my first Canadiens game.

take your stepdad doing that to you as a grain of salt, take anything anyone ever does or say to you that is insultive as a grain of salt. Being the best person you can be will not only make you happy, but those around you too. Its better to walk away then to stay and fight. Remeber you will grow up one day and be able to do what you want, and most likely become a father, and most likely a better father then your step dad, just remember that.

Anyways, there is no other sporting event that I feel so energetic about and can feel the engery. I've been to Milano to watch Inter vs Milan (i'm an Inter fan) and that was a huge thing for me, but I went to see the Leafs vs Habs (in T.O) shortly after and the buzz around Toronto the passion for the sport was so electric I don't think I could ever watch another football game live. Some say watching a Live game is better then at home, to me that's only true when it's Leafs vs Habs. Its just an incredible feeling to be there. I promise you, when you look over at every person wearing a Habs jersey you will see smiles are their faces, just like a kid meeting their favorite hockey player.

I'm 19, born when Edmonton won the cup right before Gretzky got traded.

My first Habs game was unfortunately on December 2, 1995. Any Patrick Roy fan would know the significance of that date.

21. Living in Toronto! Went to the Hall of Fame when I was 4 and saw the Canadiens set up/mock up dressing room! Been a diehard fan ever since with a Toronto fiance and a grandmother who cheers for Buffalo (I dont know where she got that). Became even more enthrusted in the franchise when Koivu got diagnosed because I was diagnosed with non-hodgkins lymphoma this year.
