Guest Hoser
As much as we've been hearing about Maxwell and Price's play over in the Dub, Carle's play in the Q has been absolutely outstanding. He has 22 points in 14 games; tied for 4th in the league in defensemen scoring. The guy he's tied with has played 4 more games, and most of the guys ahead of him in scoring have played a lot more games. His offensive numbers are awesome and he's done it on a so-so offensive team aswell. He has a history of defensive gaffes and mental mistakes, but so far his +/- of 7 (top-15 in the league for defensmen) is encouraging. Hopefully if he can reign in his defensive play he'll turn into a great quarterback for the Habs. He may not be quite as good as that other Matt Carle, but a good season he's been having nontheless! Guest Hoser
Whoa, Carle has a 4 point night going... 3 assists and a penalty-shot goal, good for 25 points in 14 games, 3rd in the league in the fewest number of games... Impressive. He's a +9 as of now, too, which is not bad at all.

Guest 1970 Habs
Carle's 06/07 season: QMJHL: 62 GP, 16 G, 53 A, 69 PTS. Not bad at all. Fourth in offensive stats and a plus in +/-. He is very physical too though somewhat injury prone. Watch this guy in Hamilton next year. The Habs have not had an offensive defenceman prospect like him for a while and if he continues to blossum I can see him with the Parent Club in 2 years.
