Guest habs_fan1160
You can google it Sorry, I'm no help really haha! I tried Googling it, and the closest I could find was "You must crack the code. If you've played Tom Clancey's bla bla, you'll know how this is done." Guest Onzeee
Originally I went to buy the 40 gig and came home with the 80 gig, lol. I don't think I really needed the 80 gig, I can't see why I would use that much space. It doesn't make much difference other than space wise, oh and I got the Blue Ray Playback kit thing, but really, I'd say the 40 gig would be hard to max out space wise, and the 80 gig is probably impossible to max out. So if I could go back and re-buy I'd probably stick with the 40 gig. I'd still reccomend PS3 though, it's a great system. There's flaws in everything, I just was the unlucky one who got to expierence it lol. ya im gettin the ps3
Guest habs_fan1160
ya im gettin the ps3 I would reccomend the extended warrenty, may be extra money but if something does go wrong it's a peace of mind. If it busts after the 30 day store warrenty then you have to send it to Sony and pay for it. If it's under warrenty then you can just do an over the counter exchange. I got two years for $70 from the future shop (on my new one), however, if my 30 days had been up it would have cost me at least $150 to get it fixed. Not really, there's a 3 month warranty from Sony but 3 months is pretty freakin' short.

Guest habs_fan1160
Not really, there's a 3 month warranty from Sony but 3 months is pretty freakin' short. It definately is, especially if you're already spending 600$ on the machine and then have to worry about repairs on it. Plus to send it away Sony has to send you a box to mail it in, which they don't rush on. From there it can take up to 10 weeks to get it back. The extended warrenty is really worth the extra bucks on these machines.I don't know what stage your at, but here you go, this should helphttp://guides.ign.com/guides/774379/page_5.html Thanks, I figured it out last night lol, took awhile but I did it. Now that I've moved on into the game it's a really good game.
Guest habs_fan1160
Someone mentioned in this thread that they didn't think the Blu Ray would win over the HD DVD - can't remember who. But here's an interesting story on the topic - nice feeling for PS3 owners. http://www.sync-blog.com/sync/2008/01/gartner-declare.html
franck5890
That was probably me. And even though I consider myself pretty psychic (kidding... ), I didn't see Warner switching to Blu-Ray exclusivity.

As much as I support Sony i want to smack them. Before they brought the PS3 out they said they would never have multiple models of the same machine like the xbox had. 4 PS3 models later

When I went, I originally went for the 40 gig and came home with the 80 (isnt' that how it normally goes?), I haven't even dented my hard drive on it yet. So unless someone was a chronic with intense video gaming problems, like 80 hrs a week, for years straight I can't imagine you'd ever need the 120 gig. lol. And if you gamed that much, death would probably be more likely than running out of space.

If Sony steps up the out put of the playstation store you may need more hard drive space for some of the stuff they are talking about (down loadable movies in HD, multiple games etc) There was even talk of making a DVR add on for the PS3 so you could record tv shows which would require more hard drive space. This was here say a while back but if there is any truth to it it would explain alot.

Kindred
Xbox 360 is the best system ever created Gotta love bill gates have to disagree the greatest system ever was the old NES system. Basically took a moribound industry (video games) and brought it back to life and made history. Games that are still to this day considered classics ( Super Mario Brothers, Super Mario Brothers 3, The Legend of Zelda, Castlevania 3) were made for that system. The NES IMO will go down in video game history as being one of the greatest of all time. as for right now go PS3 go

I expect a similar situation with the previous generation where the original XBOX is now obsolete while the PS2 is still selling very well.
