Lacasse, who started the year with the Remparts before Patrick Roy destroyed any confidence he had and released him from the club, is back, playing with the Oshawa Generals... and well. He's played 3 games, all of them wins, with a .927 SV% and 2.27 GAA. I know he's not a great prospect and he'll probably never make the NHL, but it's good to see he's playing well and his career is back on track...

Hey, maybe he'll make Patrick look like a fool for letting him go.

The OHL

Doesn't he belong to the habs?

Yea... that's why I posted it here. We own his rights but he's still playing in the junoir league, he was released by the Remparts and signed in Oshawa.

HAHA Patrick was the one who cost him his confidence?

Please this guy's best year was 3.99 GAA and a .891 S% that was his first year in the Q after that he just kept falling. 4.14 GAA, .882 S%, then 4.5 GAA and a .888 S%. Last season he had a 4.03 with a .882 S%. the few games he played in the Q that he did play he had a 5.30 GAA and a .866 S%

The only way this guy would make Patrick look like a fool is if Patrick had of kept him.

Yes he has had 3 good games in the OHL.............so far. in each game his numbers kept getting worse game 1 GAA of 1.00 and a S% of .957. Game 2 GAA 2.77 S% .923. Game 3 GAA 3.00 S% .917. I know nobody can keep up a .957 S% I'm just sayin' he rarley had games like that in the Q. The three teams he faced two have similar records as Oshawa who are in the middle of thier confrence and the other team well is well below in the standings.

Yeah you are right he probably will never make the NHL but to say Patrick had anything to do with his cofidence is absurd.

Wouldn't put it past Roy. He did it to Latendresse, and Latendresse is making him eat his words. Sorry Roy, you were good, but not the best. Good riddance.

What did Roy say about Latendresse that half the people here on this forum already said about Lats? He didn't say anything different from them but he's the bad guy. And Latendresse and Lacasse to totally different stories was has showed promise (Lats) and the other has showed nothing at all.

Wow...cant believe u would say that to Roy...wow...I mean that is Roy, he has always been outspoken and speaks what he feels is true...but good riddance thats pretty harsh!!

Eh. After what he did to the Habs, I really don't care of him much. And to be honest, with the team with had in 1992-1993, Mr. Raciot could of won the cup for us..

We had no superstars except Patrick Roy. None of our players was near the top 10 in scoring. 10 straight OT wins during the play-offs, where Roy carried the team on his back.

Oh and Brisebois called.. he's wondering if your still a fan. Cause Breezer is god.

That's your opinion, and from the looks of it, its a bit bias.

And from the looks of things so far, Lacasse is 3 times the goalie Roy is, he at least respects his teammates.

Patrick Roy:

3 Conn Smythe Trophys

5 William M. Jennings Trophys

3 Vezina Trophys

4 Stanely Cups

12 Time All-Star

Yeah, Lacasse sure is 3 times the goalie Roy was. It really sucked having Roy play for us and carry us to 2 Cups. Where's the respect?

Respect is lost when you walk out on your teammates and walk out on a game. That's something you learn in hockey when your 4 friggen years old.

Roy was a great goalie, theres no discounting that. I said that above.. and Lacasse, I was wrong, its hard to compare the two.. He could be 10 times the goalie Roy was though.

I think what I meant to say, is Lacasse is 3 times the person Patrick Roy is. The day you walk out on your teammates, you lose all respect. The day you diss the team that gave you a chance, you lose all respect. And the day you go into the public eye and diss a player (Latendresse) Mr. Roy loses all respect. Might as well compare him to John Torterella.

This thread is both very informative and humorous. Take a look at Patrick Roy's stats before the NHL

http://www.hockeydb.com/ihdb/stats/pdispla...p3?pid=00004688

Considering how bad his stats were, he is very lucky someone took a chance on him. Oh how he soon forgets..

A 6.26 GAA... I've never seen a GAA that bad lol.

He is lucky someone took a chance on him. Its not to say Lacasse will be the next great goalie, but he could be.

Patrick Roy is one lame guy to be dissing Latty and Lacasse.

and yes, it is Roys fault that Lacasse lost all confidence, and bad confidence leads to bad stats.

i bet Roy told Lacasse straight in his face that hes not gonna make the nhl, wich is, pretty rude, especially comming from a hall of famer, i bet Lacasse idolized him when he was young.

Just look at Roy's stats before eh made the nhl, 2x worse then Lacasse's stats.
