Kritik
I'm gonna say Lapierre skates with a LOT of heart out there. Komi as well. Saku of course, Higgins and Ryder as well. Sourray almost looks bored out there to me. Awesome player but doesn't he look bored? Maybe he's just that focused on the game.
crognalsen
Souray looks intense to me. I wouldn't want to mess with him.

crognalsen
I think there are differnt kinds of love for the game. Some players love it in differnt ways depending on what kind of player they are.

Guest Mustangpoirier4
i'm ganna have to say a player who doesn't play for the money, who plays his heart out every game and who tries his best every game even though he might be sick or injured, a person who puts his team before himself and doesn't glote but take pride in his team when he wins and doesn't feel ashamed when he looses a player who keeps his head up high all the time and always rebounds back and is a team player that is the type of player who show love to the game, not one person in the nhl that i could think of has all these attributes but many players have some, i'm ganna have to go with Plekanec, Higgins, Lapierre

Guest Koivu4PM
I was watching a 2004 game 7 of montreal vs boston, and saw kovalev giving so much on every shift, trying his darndest, and it seemed like he set it out in his mind that he would not let anyone beat him... well, needless to say, we didnt see him doing that this year... although I know he didnt play very long for us this year, I liked how Andrei Kostitsyn played while he was here... appeared to get picked on a lot by big hits, but always got right up and made a play... over the entire year, I would pick someone else... but with what seems like everyone else at one time or another being injured or sick, ill pick him under a 'temporary' state. Guest habs_fan1160
Ohh boy, I have a few for this one: Koivu (1), Lapierre (2), Higgins (3) and Ryder (4).
Guest natey2k4
Why hasn't Steve Begin been mentioned? The post above perfectly describes Begin. Probably cause of his penalty, I'm guessing. For me its; Chris Higgins Steve Begin Mark Streit Tomas Plekanec Mike Komisarek Sheldon Souray Andrei Kostitsyn Mike Johnson Radek Bonk Maxim Lapierre Cristobal Huet Wow. I think it'd be easier to do a list who you don't think is passionate for the game.
Guest ram84
I think Higgins, he always tries hard, Even when he was in a slump you would always see him skating hard and trying his best. Saku offcourse has to be in that list. And last not least, Ryder,why..well just look at that game against the leafs.
RinkRat07
I would say Mike Komisarek displays this every night. When you play as physical as he does every night, you have to play hurt and really love the game to sacrifice the way he does. He never takes a shift off and just keeps getting better. Chris Higgins is a good choice as well as he goes hard when he is healthy. He also is willing to pay the price in front of the net or take a hit to make a play. Steve Begin plays with a lot of heart and I can't believe he keeps coming back from so many injuries. So he is a good choice as he plays on more guts than skill. I am not sure about Ryder. Sorry as I know Ryder_Is_My_Homeboy created this thread. When he is on his game then he plays but he goes through too many stretches where I almost question his work ethic. If he could play more games like the last 10 then he might be the clear cut winner of this poll. Funny. No Russians get a vote. Good question Ryder_Is_My_Homeboy.
