S-Bah
Joe Stejskal is playing for Dartmouth in his senior year and I think he will be signed to play in Hamilton next year and he's probably going to play there for at least a year. He's a team player and was a asst captain last year. These are the type of late draft picks that will make the Habs a serious contender in the next few seasons. Homegrown talent in the fifth and sixth defence pairings, or, maybe better.

S-Bah
Also the kind of late-round picks that made the Habs' home-grown talent. I can imagine Tinordi and Stejskal on the PK for the Habs in the future, these guys love to hit players.
S-Bah
Josh Gorges and Stejskal as a defence pairing in training camp. This could be one pairing in the future as well.
S-Bah
For those who haven't heard of Stejskal, he has been on the top pairing and plays the PP and PK since his draft year for Dartmouth(4th year Asst.Capt.)6'3 211lbs right hand defenceman.Solid in both ends of the rink and a 95mph slapshot and loves to hit.Was paired with Gorges at Training Camp this year and was the last college player in camp. AK-1
Good. Time for him to show us what he's capable of. Only Nattinen and Simila left to be signed before June 1st. I'm doubtful Habs will sign Simila while for Nattinen, it should only be a formality.

S-Bah
I guess the two Randy's and Captain Kirk are getting a glimpse of some of the future this week.I'd love to see Tinordi paired with Stejskal oh what a pairing!Any opposition playing with their heads down will wake up wondering what hit them. Flunky
I've got big hopes for this kid. Big dimensions(6'3"/ 210 lbs.) Big shot (95 mph) Big Hits (Reputation) Big Joe, along with Emelin and Tinordi, should provide much-needed physical presence on the Habs blue-line for years to come. Pencil him in as a Stay-at-Home D-man with (hopefully) a mean streak.

detritus
He took a nasty hit last night, checked from behind into the boards. He was concussed on the play, and his head bounced of the ice afterwards and was taken away on a stretcher. Although nothings official, the hamilton morning news stated that while he went to the hospital with concussion symptoms, that he is not seriously injured. Which, after seeing him drop like a rag doll, is very good news.

We certainly could have used him out there yesterday!

BigTed3
So i guess we broke ties with him or what? With the likes of Tinordi, Beaulieu, and Ellis coming up, and the NHL strike preventing guys like St-Denis from making the jump up, the blue line in Hamilton was too crowded. Stejskal was demoted out of camp.
