Unless things change and Lacasse starts using his size more its tough to say weather he'll even make it into the NHL as a full timer let alone in Montreal......he's looked good this past year in some games (he posted a shutout against the first place Bulls) but got rocked in many other games....Lacasse reminds me alot of former Canadien Jocilyn Thibault and also Andrew Raycroft because like those two who in my mind have struggled in the NHL so did Lacasse in Junior....now maybe I'm wrong and maybe all he needs is a better defensive team around him to perform better but I don't know, like I say I think the guy needs to use his size better and he in my mind drops down just a bit to quickly

I would think he's ECHL bound, since we have Huet, Price, Halak, Danis, Desjardins and Lacasse all under contract for next year I would assume Lacasse will be the backup to Desjardins in Cincinnati.

I agree, I think he'll be in Cincinatti unless we put him on loan to another AHL team

This is a very minimal assumption, but I was just checking the Oshawa Generals site, and Lacasse is no longer on the roster. This could probably be a move to Cincinnati for Loic. Woo!

He's too old for the OHL so he's done with the CHL.

If he has good positional play this aspect of his game can be worked on by the goaltender coaches before/if he turns pro.
